We had an absolutely wonderful stay here in late May! We completely loved the place. The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helped us seamlessly organize our hot air balloon ride. The absolute highlight was the terrace—it offers a breathtaking view over the entire town. You honestly couldn't wish for a better view. Highly recommended!

Our room is carved inside a fairy chimney, and everything is amazing，especially the breakfast. fabulous view， and we’ll definitely come back!

At first, we were upset with the location as we got lost our first night trying to find it. We had to ask several people before we found our way back that first night. After that, we had no issues and we absolutely loved the location. It is high up with the best view of Göreme. We were really lucky that we found a gem like Travelers Cave. We will definitely stay there again as we plan another trip to Cappadokia next year. The beds, sheets and comforters. The beds are really old and the pillow cases and blankets seem even older. Very outdated and overused. We did not feel comfortable sleeping in those beds. While I understand you may want to keep the “old and rusty” style, it does not mean you cannot upgrade the sheets and comforters. It was truly the only thing that was negative.

Location at the top of the hill was great with a beautiful view. WIFI worked great, even inside a cave room. Plenty of car parking at the top of the hill. English speaking host at the desk. We stayed in one of the cave rooms. The bathroom was a little rough around the edges, ready for a refresh. There was dust from the cave ceiling on the bed and floor (perhaps this is expected when you are staying in a cave!) I saved a towel to wipe off the bed and we used the slippers provided. Breakfast was good, but gets very crowded when it starts right at 0800, as all of the guests are trying to eat at the same time, prior to tours. VERY LOUD dance music that kept us awake could be heard inside the cave room, Saturday night only, from 10PM until around midnight. Keep in mind if booking an early balloon or tour on Sunday.

Excellent location for balloons watching and close to city centre. Very good breakfast and reasonable laundry service.

Breakfast was great, a lot of vegetarian options too. Staff was very helpful and friendly and helped us book the balloon flight at a good price. The hiking trail starts just behind the hotel. Beautiful landscape, enjoyed my stay here a lot! There is a "shuttle bus" service at the airport that we didn't need to book in advance, so it was very easy to get to the hotel. the cushions and rugs in the common outside area were a little old but it was ok still

It was on the top of a hill overlooking everything.. you could see the hot air balloons perfectly from outside your hotel room The lighting and mirrors in the bathroom were very bad for applying makeup

They had the best breakfast, very friendly staff and best part is on property pets (Ginger & Latte) ??? Also, you dont need to go to any points to find out a view point for hot air balloon, the hotel is situated at a peak of Goreme and provides the best view. Nothing , Everything was perfect

The location is very good and the views from the rooftop are beautiful. The rooms are in need of updating including furnishings, lighting and bedding

The hotel has the best elevated view of Göreme, perfect to see the air balloons. The staff is extremely nice and helpful. Breakfast is delicious and there are a lot of options. Great value for the cost. Maybe the room furniture and the shower could be updated.

The hotel was possibly the highest point in Goreme. Good view from the terrace. The bathroom was dated and needed a revamp. Lot of climbing required to reach the main road.
