Mithra Cave Cappadocia

Location, vibe, Amazing burger from restaurant. The balloon tour was by far amazing!! Not much to not like. If I am being picky, the recommended green tour was not great but I suppose you can’t blame the property entirely for this. Nobody came to pick our bags on checkout so we lugged it down the stairs.

Worst room room no. 26 pls arrange to reimbursement the room we paid room and next two rooms are under renovation

Beautiful place and incredible staff

It’s in a good location. I like to be reception area. The staff is very helpful. There are a couple of great restaurants nearby. Good value in Cappadocia. No complaints.

My stay is very comfortable thanks to kind staffs and high speed wifi. None.

The location is great, good view, beautiful rooms. The bathtub leaked, however, the staff was helpful and helped with the cleanup.

I travel with my husband and my little kid on November when arrived first the location super super good because everything is close just walking and go everywhere many restaurants cafeteria shops everywhere them the guys at the front desk was super kind and super attentive they explained everything for us and they offered the traditional te and they accommodate our luggage at the room,the room was super nice clean the smell was amazing and is the first impression,the bed was super comfortable and the room is spacious for us and with beautiful views at balloons in the morning,the terrace is super nice with the beautiful amazing mornings or night’s and the breakfast was delicious every day ,I stayed for four days for get the balloons ride and in the time they offered a package and I take them and I was a amazing experience super organized and the guide Eco show us the real Cappadocia and so glad I did,so super recommended and I just want to come back in summer .

Location Having stayed at several other cave hotels during this trip, I found the overall experience here lags behind the others. While the location is fantastic, I felt the room cleanliness didn’t quite meet the standard as compared to others nearby. Wifi is not working in the room. Additionally, while the reception staff were friendly, they seemed to be students working part-time who struggled with local knowledge and general inquiries. Also felt the breakfast selection was a bit limited.

Breakfast was great While the views and setting at Mithra Cave Hotel were beautiful, unfortunately, our overall experience did not meet expectations. The air conditioning in our room leaked into a bucket that had to be manually emptied every hour, which was both inconvenient and unacceptable. Several of our personal items got wet as a result. When we asked the staff if they had a dryer or any alternative solution, they were careless and simply said no. Additionally, the airport transfer arranged through the hotel was disappointing. The van smelled like smoke, and the air conditioning did not work, making the ride extremely uncomfortable—especially after a long flight. For a hotel of this reputation, I expected more consideration when selecting transport vendors. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and improves their customer service and facilities, especially for guests who book expecting a higher standard of hospitality.

The location was very nice. Staff was rude (yelled at us when we were checking in and were not hospitable throughout our stay), no WiFi throughout the hotel, rooms were not cleaned (and the staff complained when we asked to have them cleaned), and throughout our stay the hotel was very slippery due to ice (we had multiple falls and 1 injury).

It was our first time staying in a cave room, a bit dark and windowless, which felt unusual at first, but that’s part of the authentic cave hotel charm. The view from their restaurant was absolutely stunning! Unfortunately, there were no balloons for a couple of days, and the only morning they flew was the day we flew the hot air balloon such a pity since the hot air ballon view from the hotel was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel. Still, its location in the heart of Göreme made it a perfect and convenient choice overall.
