Located along the beachfront in Port Elizabeth and with views of the Indian Ocean, The Beach Hotel offers brightly decorated rooms with air conditioning. It features 3 restaurants, a pool and a sun terrace with ocean views. The individually decorated rooms feature heating, a satellite TV and tea-and-coffee making facilities. Each room has a private bathroom and some rooms are sea facing and have a balcony. A buffet breakfast and a dinner menu is served daily in The Crest, dine Al fresco overlooking the Indian Ocean at The Veranda, which serves a choice of cuisines throughout the day. The Ginger Restaurant specializes in steaks and seafood dishes. Guests can sunbathe poolside, relax on the sun terrace and enjoy a variety of cocktails or refreshments from the bar. Local activities include snorkeling, swimming and day trips. Pumba Private Game Reserve is a 1-hour drive away. Port Elizabeth Airport is 3.1 mi away. An airport shuttle service is available upon request.

Its a very small thing but with Check In they ask on booking what time do you want to check in on the booking but when you get there the room is not ready (this may be a once off as it was Iron Man Weekend). Second is due to it being established it feels like its missing that value add extra touch feeling (perfect hotel has everything but could use a baked cookie or something extra just to round out a elevated travel experience

The Location could not be better, across the road from the best beach in Gqeberha right next to Boardwalk Mall. The Staff are extremely welcoming, and helpful offer to assist with things that are not necessary, but go out of their way to make your stay more than comfortable!! To be honest, I really had to think very hard about this question, as there was nothing about The Beach Hotel that I did not like. The one thing that came to mind is that 2 of the channels on the TV did not work, it is not an issue for me as I am not a big TV fan - it was more for background noise and I chose another channel.

Friendly and efficient staff. Attention to detail for our requests for a cot for our baby. Spacious room with a pool and sea view. Lovely restaurant for a snack and drink looking onto the ocean. Fabulos breakfast buffet.

Room No.37 was very good. Spacious. Comfortable. The shower was terrible! AWFUL. Water pressure was abysmal,and the hot water was not exactly hot.

Great location, right on the beachfront. Enjoyed the restaurants at the venue: upmarket dining at Ginger Restaurant if you feel like a nice dinner; as well as a more relaxed option on the deck at The Verandah if you feel like chilled sundowners. Secure parking at the back of the hotel. Rooms were clean and comfortable, will definitely stay at this hotel again on our next visit.
