Clean room, great staff from the reception desk to the housekeeping staff. Everyone went out of their way to make our stay the best.

Wonderful visit! Had stayed here 20 years ago. We were celebrating our 49th wedding anniversary and the staff was so kind to send champagne and chocolate covered strawberries to our room! Chocolate chip cookies at front desk every day! Great old hotel with lots of history and charm!

The hotel is super conveniently located directly on main street. This is where all the shopping and dining is downtown. Nothing is more than a few blocks away. The breakfast is superb. Rooms are well appointed. This is our second time staying here. We love it.

Clean and classy. Perfect location, and great breakfast! Didn’t seem to be a working exhaust fan in the bathroom, and the toilet does not have a soft closing lid, and is cheap plastic.

Clean and sophisticated. Classic hotel in the heart of downtown.

My two-night stay was an average one, but I expected more from the room and the hotel staff. In my room, the carpet was torn at the bathroom door. I could tell that a repair attempt was made but the 6" long tear was still noticeable. In the shower, the hooks on the shower curtain were all unhooked, which allowed the shower curtain to come loose from two of the points of attachment. The thermostat in the room was set to 67 and was not able to be adjusted. This was far too cold for comfort in the summer. When I asked at the front desk about adjusting the temp, someone from engineering set the new temp on 73, but we could not adjust that either. The cold and hot water faucets were switched in our room. Our hot was on the right, and the cold was on the left. My biggest concern was the staff of the hotel that showed little concern for helping in the return of my wife's glasses that we left in our room by mistake. The staff at the desk forwarded my three calls for help to housekeeping, which is in charge of the lost and found. No one from housekeeping called me back. I was promised four times over several days by the front desk staff that I would receive a call to help with the lost item. No one called me. Finally, I found a sympathetic ear in Francis, who works at the front desk. She worked quickly to make the arrangements necessary to bring an end to this. She did a stellar job of meeting her commitments. Other staff members? Zero effort.

The bathroom had hair all over it. Toilet incredibly noisy. Door would not close properly. Room felt musty and outdated.

Super comfortable bed, Clean property. Great breakfast included with stay. Perfect location!
