Loved the location .. close to many things and in a more quiet part of city center .. close to many museums and cafes Our room did not have a fan or AC.. be sure to check that the room you book has one or the other

Location is great, most of the places I wanted to visit and see where within 5 to 10 minutes walk the most. I did not like the fact that when I sent a direct E-mail to the hotel I was told there was no more rooms available. However, when I turned around and made the reservation throughout an agent from USA; there were multiple rooms available.

I liked that their staff was super friendly and helpful. They gave us a discount for callejoneadas and helped us get to mercado hidalgo since we didnt know where it was. I loved everything!

Great customer service.

The Location was excellent and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Our View was excellent Older hotel with pretty much no extra amenities other than an AC and TV.

Huge room with comfy bed. Friendly helpful staff ( especially helping us drive our car out when we left..a tight maneuver!) The location is very close to some nice squares with great eating options. They have parking which is a huge bonus in the city. They have a great terrace that gives excellent views across the city day and night. Sometimes street noise from evening walking/singing tours that passed by quite close was quite loud later in the evening (would apply to any hotel in the area however)

generally good, but when I tried to shower, there was only cold water. I asked the staff and they said they just turned on the hot water for me and I should be able to get it in 5 minutes. Then I waited 20 more minutes before giving up and taking a cold shower.

Parking situation was great, the location was super central( less than a ten minute walk to union del Jardin). The view from the room with balcony was stunning, exactly what you would expect from Guanajuato Hot water was sometimes a little lukewarm

It was extremely clean! And the staff were so welcoming and warm. I would recommend and will definitely stay there again in the future! Nothing

Very noisy outside! People were talking and kids were shouting in the hotel even after 11 pm. Someone’s phone alarm was sounding the whole morning. Trouble to fall asleep!

A 5-10 minute walk from everything and relatively quiet. Fabulous views from the terrace and our room. Great WiFi and showers. The staff were great - getting us event tickets and booking taxis. We felt safe. No restaurant for breakfast. Odd that it has apparently remained closed for years.

Hot water didn’t come out for the first night. Booked the best suite with the bath tub, looked forward to using it but no hot water came out. We didn’t receive any compensation for the trouble. The stuff doesn’t speak English, did not solve the problems right away. The stay was unpleasant. The stuff doesn’t speak English. They forgot turning the water boiler.

They do not serve breakfast at this hotel. But you are mere steps away from a really great coffee bar and only five minutes to plenty of restaurants. They do provide you with a Nespresso type single serve coffee machine, bottled water in your room. I won't say that I didn't like this - but it should be mentioned for those who are temperamental about being woken up by church bells right outside your window. I mean, it was as if the bell was hung right outside my window. But the year before I stayed on the opposite side of the hotel and never noticed the bells. But on that side the music from the bar across the street and the troubadours on the street under the balcony went on until 11 p.m. Choose your room accordingly. Just ask when booking. However, with everything this hotel offers and the value, this is no fault of the hotel and minor in my book

EVERYTHING WAS GREAT ALL GOOD

Well located, within easy walking distance of all the principal sights of the Historical Centre. Helpful staff at the front desk when asked about recommendations for restaurants, arranging tours etc. Great view. When a problem arose with billing for the room (my credit cars was charged twice), the issue was resolved quickly and easily, with many apologies from the management. The room had minimal furnishings. Additional shelf or a bureau would have been helpful.
-
The location. Incompetent and inexperienced staff who charged me and my friend twice for our room and only admitted it when I discovered a double deduction on my bank statement.
-
Good location a block from El Alondiga and the Mercado Hidalgo. The room was clean — very sparse, and the staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. Nice views from the terrace. I was happy with the property itself and the staff but I thought it was too expensive for the room.
