Location The Hotel looks beautiful but is super old and it is not too well maintained. The worst thing is that the room walls are really thin and you can hear the other guests. They have a lot of rules in the hotel, for example if you leave a stain in any of the towels or bed they will charge you, I have never seen this kind of stuff in any other hotel. The only rule they don’t follow though is keeping the silence from 22pm to 8am. It seems like a common problem, especially you can read other reviews where they mention young people making noise, putting music out loud, etc. I don’t think is coincidence that this happens in our stay as well. I am native Spanish so I could talk to the receptionist, they will go to the guests room and tell them to lower the volume, but in our case, they kept doing noise. I contacted the receptionist twice in the same night and the second time they did not come up, basically we needed to wait until the guests got tired and went to sleep at around 1 am. This happened two following nights out of the 3 we stayed, a hotel where you cannot sleep is not recommended. One last thing, the internet is terrible, is only useful to send messages.

It was pretty near downtown. The room we booked did not have any windows, not even in the bathroom, not A/C either. The door from the bathroom was never closed, the bathroom area was pretty much the same as the bedroom. The bathroom did not have any type of ventilation whatsoever.

The location was excellent for exploring the historic centro, including one of the tunnels right next to the hotel itself and its nearness to the Funicular tram. The bed was quite good ... unfortunately the pillows were too hard and thick for sleeping on, but great for resting against while sitting on the bed. The pillows ... too big & hard for sleeping on. Also, there was only 1 night table and 1 lamp in the king room - and virtually no extra outlet to plug in your charger for your phone.

Very close to down town location Everything was good

It can get noisy at almost every hour of the night.

I didn’t like the locks on the doors. My doors lock was not easy to access. The second room I had also had a combination pad lock instead of actual door with lock. And it was hard to actually unlock because you had to enter four rows of a numerical combination. When asked if we could at least change the pad lock from a combination lock to a key type of lock, we were told no. Also, the door felt flimsy. Made me concerned about the safety of my personal belongings when I wasn’t in my room.

Great location, small but very cute and comfy! Time to change out the mattress in room 3 it has a big dip in the middle. Other than that everything else was great.

The fact that i arrived few hrs earlier than the check in time and staff at front desk left us waiting for hrs and got the room at around 4:45 pm i have stayed in many other better places and never had to wait

Location is great, the staff is very helpful, and the view of the city is nice. The area is quite noisy

They don’t have hot water … and it’s noisy because of the bar right outside the hotel. I know it’s not their fault just letting you know. Alsoooo, the plugs don’t work!

Location Beds need a new mattress

Location was perfect, everything you want to see is at walking distance. The room didn"t have a single window, the lighting was really poor, the sink in the bathroom was really small, even to wash your hands, didn"t have a mirror. You didn"t have even a hook to hang your towel when you take a shower. It wasn't a good experience.

Big rooms and beds. Great roof top area. Clean facilities. Nice staff. Loud pipes you could hear in the walls. The bathroom door was basically see through.

Property was perfectly located. We walked everywhere with restaurants very close by. The morning staff who checked us in was very kind. It was the afternoon guy working who ruined the trip for me. I come back to my room after leaving for lunch with my girlfriend when I get a random message from him staying the “ smoke alarm” detected smoke from my room and that he was going to charge me $100 USD. Me and my girlfriend have asthma and do not smoke. The room does not have any sensors so he lied to me and I felt like he just stereotyped me and blamed whatever smell he was talking about on me. Felt very uncomfortable after that message that we ended up leaving a day early and went and booked somewhere else. Very unfortunate situation but be careful I feel like they tried and take money from me for being American.

The lobby staff was not as friendly as I would have expected. They do not help bring your luggage up and down from your room. And some rooms are very high.
