It’s located in a quiet and pleasant area. When we arrived to our room, some of the lights were out, the internet NEVER WORKED, the front desk gave us a piece of paper with several different passwords but NOT OF THEM EVER WORKED The bed were so hard, and uncomfortable that was like were sleeping on the floor. The comforter from the bed was dirty too!! With some kind of big white stains. Television was terrible you couldn’t see anything because the static on it,so we never watched. I went to the front desk to request a different room and the receptionist said nothing she could do and NO she didn’t have any other rooms. They changed the light bulbs that were out.

Good Location, comfortable and cheap They assigned me a room and then gave it to another couple and tried to downgrade me even though i paid for the nicer room
-
The majority of the staff is pretty attentive! The rooms are smaller than they appear online, and honestly I don’t see a price-quality correlation

The Hotel was very nice, clean and I would have given it a great review except there were some safety concerns that prevent me from doing so. On our last night at Abadia Tradicional we received a weird threatening phone call through WhatsApp. We received threats and allegations about "our" vehicle (which didn't match the description of our actual rental) from a person who had my full name and who identified himself as being "hotel security". This person, at one point requested that my husband go out to the front of the hotel to identify the vehicle. After a little while they indicated that local police was there with him and finally threatened to send someone up to our room. Needles to say it was a very frightening situation and my husband and I couldn't sleep guarding the room in which my very young children slept. We finally hung up and blocked the number. We immediately called the lobby staff who quickly indicated they had not shared our info with anyone and requested me to simply block the number. Nobody would have our contact info or my full name other than booking.com and the hotel. In the morning, no one asked us how we were or anything about the serious incident which was reported to the hotel staff. Unfortunately, I believe my personal information was not kept confidential at the hotel level as they requested a paper entry upon arrival (check in). I will never be back! Just be careful and stay safe out there.

Our room was moldy and smelled of moisture.

Passable
-
Bed was hard. No hear. No iron.

How in depth they were in cleaning That even though they were very cleanly, the poor cleaning lady’s did not have the the proper equipment to do their job. They still had to ring out the mop by hand in a tiny bucket without gloves. They need to properly equip their staff with the right supplies so that the place can be even more well kept

The exterior, the grounds, and the pool were very nice. Some other reviewers mentioned the parking…and I thought it was valet. It isn’t. The hotel is just about at the very top of a hill, so if you leave, you can expect quite a vertical hike to get back up. We were supposed to stay four nights, but left after two. The room had a split unit AC, but the room always felt damp. The internet was non-existent, and the onsite restaurant, Arcángeles, was often closed. Thankfully, Hacienda El Fresno is close-by and fabulous.

Not clean enough. Pictures are better than reality. Too expensive for what it is
