Carcamanes 17 Gastro-Hotel

On Day of the Dead, I was rushing to catch a flight and thought I had plenty of time, but it turned out to be very tight. Due to traffic congestion, I waited for a taxi for 40-50 minutes only to have it canceled just before I arrived. The owner and staff went out of their way to help me, calling local drivers and finding one waiting at the door within minutes. I finally arrived at the airport ahead of schedule. The owner and staff were excellent, a perfect 10/10, and I highly recommend everyone stay here.

Mauricio and Tzisiri were phenomenal hosts. The food was fantastic…gastronomical! Location is superb, minutes from the center and all of the museums, markets and theaters. The hotel is quiet and clean. Five stars.

- good location - friendly staff - clean room - nice lighting in the room - very small room - no windows to the outside - really warm in the rooms and no way to ventilate (as no windows to outdoors) and no AC - bathroom had no windows and no ventilation. It was terribly sticky in the room and not surprisingly there was mold on the ceiling (I don't understand how one can firget to install a ventilation system in a bathroom without wundows) - towels lost fluff, it was not comfortable to use - it was quite noisy because the bar/restaurant played really loud music until after midnight For the quality of the facilities, the hotel was really expensive and I'd rather stay somewhere else next time.

The location was perfect and all of the extra touches made our experience lovely. We enjoyed our welcome cocktail and delicious breakfast!

Great location. We liked the rooftop bar and nice view of the city. The room is nice and bit small, but it was perfect for couple staying. Also, nice wood floor and on the walls... but there are no windows.. the good thing is that we have a fan in the room, so it was okay. We definitely come back in the future and stay here again. .

I loved the style, the location, the bar, the restaurant, the room with the view. If I had to be picky, the only thing I didn’t like was that the shower didn’t have strong enough water pressure.

It was located just literally a stone throw from the town centre which was very convenient. The rooms were modern but small. If you wanted a one night stop, would be great. Staff was very friendly and if possible to speak English they try Our room had no shades for the window so it was bright to sleep when morning comes, the shower took 5 mins to turn warm and then hot. You can only sleep after 1 am even though our room was so high up, the bar and restaurant was so noisy so if you had a room next door -!; is a light sleeper, u will not be sleeping well. Also had very inconsiderate guest talking so loudly at 4 am and non stop which was a noisy

It was centrally located and the staff were pretty nice. Our room had a lovely view. Our room was licated right above the bar and it was incredibly loud till about 1 30 in the morning every day. No chance to actually get some sleep. The walls are paper thin. The bed covers had several marks on them. The entire place gives the idea of a bougy hotel but the details are defo lacking. The bathroom is small and our toilet was blocked pretty much straight away. Tge water pressyre is also vasically none existant and the food was underwhelming.

Exceptional

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is excellent. I enjoyed breakfast each morning and had some fun tacos in the evening. My room was an efficiency room with 2 twin beds and fun lighting. The first night the room was super noisy next to the bar until about 1am. Otherwise I really enjoyed my stay. There are no windows to the outside or ventilation and the room can be a little stuffy, but there is a fan in the room and windows to the hall to the bar.

We had a welcome courtesy drink upon arrival. The complimentary breakfast was really good and the room although kind of small was fairly comfortable. The hotel management and staff were very professional and nice. The location was perfect. I would stay there again and recommend the place to any visitor vacationing in Guanajuato. The toilet paper holder and the hand towel holder were broken.

property is located close to a patrocinio parking which is good, walk was only 5 mins away place felt dirty and indeed while taking a shower, the drain had hair from previous people that were probably staying there before us. although it’s a beautiful property, the cleanliness was lacking !

Bar and food were very good. Comfortable bed. Rooms are just okay (relativ small)

There's a bar (with lovely city views) on the top level, which can be a little loud if you are an early-to-bed person. But it quiets down quickly as soon as it closes.
