I typically stay at Homewood Suites up the road. My room at TownePlace was too small, even for 1 person. And what is up with having to place your keycard into this slot by the door to have some LIGHTS! This involved the kitchen, bathroom, and one of the lights on the wall in the living/bedroom. No room at all for a kitchen table. Only had a small table in the living room. There were 2 days that the room wasn’t cleaned. It was set up for cleaning everyday, not every other day. Going back to Homewood suites next year.

Only issue was that it was difficult to use the air conditioning. I did not want the room that cold, but when you raise the temperature, the heat comes on. There was not option to select air or heat.

There were DOG TICKS in our room sofa. After we found one of them crawling on us we switched a room (10 pm). Manager refused to give any compensation, claiming we brought the ticks from the outside. WE DON’T OWN A DOG. The hotel is dog friendly!

The place was fine--I don't demand much of a hotel. It is basically a place to sleep. However, more discerning travelers might have been upset by the fact that the supplemental door lock didn't work, one of the shelves in the closed was broken and the one day out of four that we had maid service, they seemed to only half finish the job. They may be very short of staff.

Nice room, no odor, and quick check in/out process. Everything was very straight forward. Even the pool was nice and clean. Breakfast is honestly super weak. Bananas that were only partially ripe, hot food was rubbery and not enjoyable, and the coffee was basically water.

Traveled here for a work trip, felt very safe as a woman alone. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Check in was also very easy! My room was very clean. Would highly recommend to any solo travelers!!
