Great stay at the ryokan! We enjoyed the private baths and both meals were amazing.

I love the food and the relaxation I got to experience. I didnt like the fact that I had to leave i wish I stayed more time.

Room was beautiful. Dinner was excellent Staff could be more adept at google translate.

This was such a beautiful ryokan and the staff was fantastic I would have preferred more of a view so next time I will stay in a second floor unit

Really pretty property. Rooms are amazing as is having your own private Onsen. Super strict about leaving your room. Need to call someone to escort you. Is fine if you don’t come and go much but it does feel a bit restrictive.

The hotel is nestled in the Hakone mountains, it is a quiet, discreet location. The suites are all very seperate which gives good privacy. The outdoor onsens are very relaxing, overlooking the bamboo gardens as in the pictures. We stayed here for 1-night and enjoyed our stay. My partner and I had left a bag on the train on the way to this location. The staff here were extremely helpful, they called the JR lost & found and sorted it all out for us which was a big stress reliever. It is a bit timely and/or costly to get to the location from the nearest train stations. Make sure to plan ahead on the best transport method for your time and budget.

Excellent facilities and great food. There are higher end places but this is good value for the price.

It is very serene . The rooms are very authentic Japanese . The staff is very kind . The rooms upstairs have a beautiful view . Also - the staff was amazingly kind and helpful - and sent our family calligraphy package via FedEx to Kyoto because I forgot it on our touring van. This was so incredibly thoughtful and kind - & truly exceptional service ! It would be nice if for breakfast there was a continental option with scrambled eggs, toast, fruits and yoghurt - for travelers who are not accustomed to Japanese breakfast .

Food was delicious and facilities were beautiful. The staff treated us like royalty. Walking up a steep hill to the property was a rough trek with heavy luggage.

This Onsen was legitimately one of the best experiences I've ever had in my life. I have never in my life felt as much comfort and relaxation than I have here. It was so serene that my wife literally teared up when we left. The staff was kind and respectful. We had gotten in-room massages, drinks, and more. The hot spring rejuvenated us. The bed was comfy. Everything was perfect, and I'll honestly never forget how amazing this was. I hope that a lot of people get an opportunity to do this at one point of their lives. Just so they can feel pure joy. Amazing. 10/10. It was literally flawless. Thank you so much.

The hotel offers a quiet and exclusive experience for me and my hubby. We are very happy with the room which has comfy bed, indoor onsen and very clean. The food is delicious and they served both breakfast and dinner in our room, which we feel very comfortable and relax when dining. The staff are also so friendly and helpful. Thank you to all the staff who helped us during our stay and we hope to be back there again.

Dinner and Breakfast service was exceptional and far exceeded my expectations. I would have liked more control with the Onsen temperature.
