Hotel Stella Bella was fantastic. We messaged for pick up at the bus station and was met by the staff right on time. This saved us from having to carry all our luggage to the hotel. The front desk was very helpful throughout our 9 night stay. They arranged taxi rides when we could not get an uber, they made reservations at the sushi restaurant in Happa One. They went above the level of service to get us to the bus stop on two consecutive days. Once for the monkey park and once for our return trip to Nagano. We loved the breakfast and the dinner. We also enjoyed the onsen every night and did the private one too. I would highly recommend this hotel. We also enjoyed the ski storage so it was easy to store our skis and boots in the locker room. Everything was very nice and the service was exceptional.

Great breakfast, shuttle from Goryu, pretty close to Goryu ski lift. Good "onsen". Same can speak English. A little pricy. A lot of foreigners.

Brilliant breakfast. Lovely staff. Discounts on lift passes and eqiuipment hire. Proximity to the Goryu lift. Dining room ambiance was a bit poor but the food was still excellent.

5-stars service. Lovely and helpful reception ladies. Staff are nice. Great breakfast. Clean, neat, and spacious room. Close to Escal plaza but uphill walk around 50m. Onsen is clean and minimal. Beddings are not quite soft. No body lotion (esp. in winter.)

The hotel checked all the boxes for a quick ski weekend. A quick walk to the lifts at Escal Plaza, and plenty of restaurants nearby. Staff was friendly and helpful, and the onsite onsen was perfect for relaxing after a day of skiing. I felt like the room was "bare bones" for what I was paying. For example, the only light in the room was the main overhead light. When I wanted to read a book after my daughter fell asleep, I either had to sit in the bathroom or use the flashlight on my phone. While I chose the hotel for its proximity to the slopes and paid extra for the prime location, small things to make the stay more comfortable are expected at this price point.

Great location (10 min walk to skiing, bars and restaurants), good facilities (onsen, place to store skis and wash/dry clothes) it was a no frills place, but it got the job done and the staff took good care of us (getting us rides to the bus stop, helping ship out luggage).

Great location for skiing - walking distance to Goryu. Our room was amazing, we opted for the Executive Double - great choice, very spacious with the biggest bed I've ever seen! A dedicated place to hang clothes other than ski gear would be helpful - but overall a great experience.

Perfect location in Goyru, close to Escal Plaza and restaurants and bars. Outstanding breakfast and super clean and tidy. Recommended for anyone looking for a great hotel in Hakuba.
