Breakfast was excellent. Location was just a short walk from both the bus stop (we came in from Nagano) as well as the Goryu ski resort. Staff was very friendly. Several restaurants and a 7-Eleven within a 15 minute walk. Good value for the price. There is also an Onsen on site which was amazing. We used it every night during our stay.

Exceptional stay at a wonderful location.

The beds were a little hard, but surprisingly comfortable. I very much enjoyed the breakfast too. It had a very homey atmosphere and the hosts were very friendly. The attached restaurant was excellent too. They had heaters around the building but at times it felt a little chilly.

We loved it and will come back, when we come back to Hakuba! We booked this rather late for a ski trip so this was one of the last affordable options for us and we are SO happy we found this. It's a cozy, rustic cabin with spacious rooms. The private Onsen is amazing, especially after a long ski day. We also loved the Canadian Village restaurant/bar. It probably had some of the best food of our entire Japan trip, prepared by the owner! The breakfast is prepared by the owner's mom every morning - it's amazing! There are many Japanese but also "western" options. It's all fresh, tasty, healthy and filling for a full day of sports! The owner, the owner's mother and the rest of the staff are so kind, thoughtful and just authentic. Nothing is fake and if we needed help, they truly supported us. Such as on our last day with the heaviest snow fall, when we asked to use the phone to call a taxi, the owner offered to drive us himself, spending probably over an hour of his time, as we still needed to make further stops. We are unbelievably grateful! 「ありがとうございます The area of Goryu is amazing and so underrated. It's outside of all the action and away from the party crowd, international tourists and seasonal workers in Echoland and Hakuba town, and for us it was so much better! There are many restaurants and bars, the food, prices and staff are better and friendlier (we compared these three areas) For skiing, no matter where you go in the valley: if you want to check out multiple ski resorts, you might want to consider renting a car (you must be comfortable with driving in heavy snow!). We went to Goryu/47 twice out of our 4 skiing days, because it's super close, has a lot to offer for all levels, no crazy crowds, you never have to wait in line!

Breakfast is nice. I like that the rooms and overall vibe of the place were very cozy. Owners were nice and easy going. Not exactly a downside but as the place doesn't have an elevator, you need to carry your luggage up the stairs to your room on the 2nd floor, which is actually a part of its charm, but for those with large luggage it could have been quite a struggle.

cute cabin, yummy breakfast, the owner & house lady were lovely.

Everything! We felt at home and we loved it. Such a beautiful place with great service and great people. The room was very spacious, the beds were comfortable and very cozy. (the pillow is hard, might no suit people that like soft pillow) the location is incredible, plus the fact that the best restaurant in Hakuba is right there in the hotel, made everything even more amazing. Onsen + Canada Tei in our hotel was the best combo for after the whole day skiing. our staying wasn't long enough. we will be back.

Not much to say. Since covid19 is destroying tourism, the entire place was empty and lacking any vibe. Lights off in a massive place like this is spooky to say the least. Free parking? I guess…. The pillows are awful. The bed is awful. Get some memory foam pillows, please. My neck is so sore even after 2 nights. I’d just think this place would be fine with actual people in it but. If you pass up a bargain to people to stay here, you will have a “vibe” like you seem to want to advertise, but since you charge like ¥28000 for two nights not even Japanese will book here. I know it’s hard to do this right now but if you dropped tour price, people will come.

I like that they allow large dogs. The staff was friendly, attentive and accommodating. The property is in a good location and is a 5 min drive 15 min walk from the skiing plaza. Walking distance of local restaurants. I would definitely recommend staying at this property. Restaurant bar closed early and was not open every day.
