B&B Koyuki Hakuba

I had a wonderful experience thanks to Markus and his wife Kyoko, they were extremely informative on the transportation around Hakuba. I forgot my helmet on one of the shuttle buses, and they helped contact the bus agency to retrieve my helmet, really appreciate it!

Markus and family made us feel very welcome, and were very helpful with information about the local area. Breakfast was a great time to chat with them and the other guests. Lovely accommodation in a pretty and quiet area but also very accessible.

The breakfast was simple and excellent set us up perfectly for a days skiing. Very friendly host that went out of there way to help us with anything we needed like organising taxis, transfers etc. Nothing

Markus and Koyuki were exceptional hosts. Informed, caring and earnest, they really made us feel at home.

Traditional Japanese home style stay was really nice. Markus and his wife were lovely hosts and provided us with lots of tips and advice around navigating hakuba. Delicious breakfast Showering times limited to certain hours sometimes made plans a little inflexible. Room was a little cold.

A great place to stay - super comfortable room with a toilet. Showers are separate from the room but are very clean and private. Breakfast each morning was incredible, and enough to fill us up for a full day on the slopes. Hosts were very friendly and accomodating and assisted with making sure we got correct busses for the different ski fields.

Exceptional stay with Markus. It was great to have a loft room with a seperate private sitting area and the space was better than photos. All the facilities you need - hot showers, locks/keycodes, drying room etc. Included breakfast was a lovely addition each morning and a chance to socialise with other guests. The location may be the best part - few minute walk to the heart of echoland, ski rentals and all shuttle pick-up locations. Markus was helpful and knowledgable; organising us lessons and a taxi at one stage too. Will definitely return! Probably wouldn't recommend for people looking to party or solo travellers looking to meet people - although this wasn't an issue for us.

We had a lovely time. The location was wonderful and Markus was very helpful with recommendations for ski/board hire etc. Our room was gorgeous and the it is a beautiful B&B with lovely amenities. They are very well set up for snow sports, with a separate entrance and a place to store all your gear. Very close to all the restaurants in Echoland, but was quiet at night. The perfect blend! We would love to stay again if we go back to Hakuba.

Markus and Kyoko are exceptional "Super Host". I really appreciated the warm friendly chats and useful tips given about getting around Hakuba ski slopes, etc. Its a spacious and well kept B&B. Timely email responses were also provided by the host prior to my trip. Definitely recommend and will stay again in my next trip to Hakuba.

The hotel is small and lovely with the most welcoming hosts. It’s conveniently located near several bus stops from where you can get a bus to different skiing spots. Our room with a loft had plenty of space for the two of us and was warm and comfortable in a traditional Japanese style. Everything was perfect
