Hotel Lilienhof

Wasn't the cleanest place. The sheets, towels, and sink all seemed like they were cleaned recently (i.e. before my stay), but nothing else really was, there was a stuffy nature to the room. Only one outlet worked, the rest were pulled out of the wall. Only one light in my room worked. All of these things really weren't a huge problem as I was only staying for the night and paid next to nothing (hotel wise). A bit of a you get what you paid for scenario.

It's close to central station, so I thought it would be the right choice, but should have acknowledged the reviews. I was prepared to deal with anything, but not this. BED BUGS! There were BED BUGS on TWO floors. (Probably more!) The owner KNEW about this, but only sprayed the hostel floor-by-floor, to save money! (Speaking to the very friendly, thankfully honest staff). This owner is horrible, selfish and has no regard for human life! There is a special place in the afterlife for people like this. Didnt even have the decency to reply to me to give me my money back. Horrible. Avoid this at all cost. Edit: This has now been 2 weeks, and the owner STILL has not closed this hostel for disinfection. And there are reviews here which speak of this since August(!) and even more in 2023. So this is a reoccurring problem and the owner doesn't do anything about it.

Awesome location, comfortable room, nice staff, wifi, non smoking, 24h front desk, can do a lot of things outside and be hosted for a really fair amount of money, that's why 09/10. If you have a car I could not see this. The poor neighbors, at the train station.

You get what you pay for. Very good location close to Haubtbahnhof Hamburg. Clean bed. One single hook to hang clothes would be a 100% escalation of comfort. A television able to start, mounted so the electric plug can fit at all in the first place would be even better. Less mould in the ceiling in the bathroom would be appreciated as well as isolated electric wiring in a wet area. Parking was mentioned at site. In reality they refer to a parking house around the corner that costed more than the room.

Nothing but the area ingenting förutom området det låg i. All I have to say is DO NOT GO HERE! There were bugs in the restrooms and cockroaches in the room. It was very dirty and simply disgusting! The bedsheets had stains on them and smelled used the towels also had brown stains on them! As soon as you walk in the entrance you will get hit by the smell of smoke and public bathroom. Don’t go here because you will feel dirty, disgusting and very disappointed! We were scared to be and sleep there! There was a WiFi but it didn’t even work. the pictures speak for themselves bilderna talar för sig!

Only the location is good for the hotel. Nothing as the hotel room was not clean, basic facilities like chairs or proper wifi etc. were missing, The lift was not working and we got a room at 5th floor. There was no place to get drinking water. This is the worst hotel I stayed in my life. I strongly suggest not to book this hotel.
