It was bad this time I couldn't check in

Room: It was nice and it deserves its value price, clean with view. Internet nmeeds bit more speedy and less lags Location: Center with many buses and train station with shops around it. Several homeless people around, but it works for me, no problem at all. Police around, the police station just 5 min walk after the lodge, 10 minutes walk from the Hamburg central station. I feel fine and safe, personally. Breakfast: No breakfast, we could have been served a simple breakfast for this price, i think. Overview: I gave ''8'' as overall mark for two reasons: 1) While we check it, a card is provided, but i was never been provided my room number. I think it should be sent with the email directions, it just three numbers guys. Instead, it could bewritten in the card we are provided. 2) Staff came to my room at 10:30am while check out is at 11am. So please inform the staff to respect the check out time. But in general terms, i will book again as i did the last three times i visited Hamburg. I mentioned everything before. Thank you

The location was convenient, especially being close to the Deutsche Schauspielhaus. The surrounding area felt unpleasant. Check-in was fully automated via a computer, with no staff present. The toilets were located one floor below the room and were not stocked with toilet paper. By the morning, the common areas were dirty and littered with garbage.

Location! My favorite barber, Turkish dinner and SLUT Bar all close to the HbH.. The check in machine is clunky and it takes forever to enter your information. If you don’t pay attention to the screen to see which room you have, you’ll be taking your key and having to try every door! The room did not have a blackout curtain on it! I have now stayed here four separate visits.

The room was OK, but the carpet was extremely dirty. I think they didn’t change the bed sheets or the blanket. After staying at the hotel for a few days, I got scabies all over my body.

I booked a 4 person room for me and my friend and we were only given a single key card. Is a group of 4 people supposed to share a single key if they book that room? We asked for a second card and were told "it's against the law to give out more than one card" which is a straight up lie

Hotel is run digitally, so sign in is with a touchscreen. Locks are digital too and everything works. Rooms and hotel itself is clean. Breakfast is excellent at a cafe on the ground floor. Everything within the room itself is bare, but it works and its clean. Rooms though small are very functional and comfortable. The only negative is the area, which at night turns into criminals vs police. If you plan to sleep through the night, then this is a non issue. But if you are walking here at night , then be prepared to meet all kinds of characters on the street.

Check-in, check-out times were terrible
-
The room is quite good, but the lobby whether to check in doesn't smell well. Besides, the automatic check in machine is not easy to use.
-
Very close to central station in Hamburg, comfortable space with some storage options, TV Sink had a weird smell, mild in the shower tiles, basic open storage

Decent room size. Not so great neighbourhood. Sub-par bed size and blankets.

Room Hot as FU**C**K, and NO AIR CONDITIONING. There wasn't no blinders or blackout on the windows, I got in 1:40am, 4am the sun "woke me up", and talking about "awakening" 20 meters away from the window, there is a DRUG DEN with HUNDREDS OF JUNKIES, fighting, screaming, cursing DURING EVERY SECOND OF THE NIGHT...I LITERALLY Didn't not sleep. Mix it, 45 degrees+hell under my window+no blinders+police sirens every minute ! That's it, I HATED THE PLACE, the surroundings are EXACTLY LIKE SOMALIA ! The staff, ahh the staff, there's no staff, only two guys preparing the food. Took me 30 minutes to get in and more 20 to check out. I'll never return there again.

The light in the bathroom didn't work. There was way to report the issue and get it fixed.
-
Check-in and check-out times are not an international standard and inflexible. No fridge, mini-bar or similar. Unable to leave the baggage on the premises with no indication to a locker facility nearby.
-
Inside washroom, should be some additional things
-
Hot as hell. No air circulation.

I love this neighborhood. So close to the HbH, amazing Turkish food and a great barber. While local population seems very niche with clusters of many different folk, it is quite safe.

The check in machine wasn't working and we had to go to the other building across the street. Mattresses were very uncomfortable, too soft. There is no reception in the building and in the other building apparently they do just fee hours. They don't have a bag deposits so we had to leave our luggage in the storage station.
