This is easily one of the best city hotels in Europe, especially when the weather is fine and you can float in the rooftop pool with spectacular views of the sailboats on the Alster or have breakfast under the huge old trees in the beautiful garden. Location, staff, food, bar, value, and the obsession with every detail of the interior are impressive. I can not think of a more pleasant hotel experience in the center of a major European city. -

The room was big and spacious, and very well designed. The en suite music was very entertaining (and could be switched off). Probably the quietest room we have ever stayed in. We liked everything.
