Comfortable good size room, good value Location, while reasonably central to Hamburg downtown and Alster Lake is in somewhat of depressed neighborhood

The location We had stayed in this hotel several times before the pandemic, and we were actually very happy with it, that's why we wanted to stay here again. And that was our mistake, assuming that the quality would still be there. They did some renovations, but they caused a noticeable downgrade. They've used cheap materials for the rooms and bathrooms, and you can tell, everything seems like it's about to break if you touch it. Additionally, the price has gone up quite a bit, which although inflation might explain some of it, the clear downgrade in quality and overall experience does not justify it. As another side note, the staff in reception were not able to communicate in English, we tried with 2 different persons, and it was a nightmare to do the checkin. Among the few things which remained good, tbe breakfast and the location. Those are the only reasons why I'm not grading this hotel with a lower grade.

The location, the staff, the rooms, everything was nice. Staff is very welcoming and cooperative. Sabrina at the front desk was very helpful ? The room cleaning service, although me and my coworkers asked for room cleaning they did not clean our room that day. We should inform the reception by 11 AM if we need room cleaning and we did inform at 7 in the morning, still room was not cleaned.

Location in the city. Plenty of stores and restaurants nearby. Heating was not working. The room we got after we told them about the problem had the same issue plus there were big stains on the carpet

Facilities are ok, close to public transport, food and supermarket nearby, room size is ok, friendly staff Airco not properly working, so hard to cool down the room

Everything was amazing.It was quiet and comfortable hotel.The location is perfect,just two stations to the city centre.The staff was also friendly and helpful.
