Nice hotel, personal touch, made with love. Nice atmosfeer with also working spaces and music studios. Nice there was some breakfast (milk/yoghurt and muesli), and I think the huge box with earplugs was quite humorous. Room was great for my daughter as she had her own little attic. It would have been nice with a reception to ask things, but then again, phone was always picked up when we had a question. Unhandy you have to pay drinks (nicely priced btw) with an app that did not work for me, or with cash, what we do not use so much. And yes, it was somewhat noisy with the tram - it did not bother us too much and there was the earplugs! ;)

Fully electronic check in, we haven't seen staff at all. The furniture in the room and in the common area is nice and of good quality. Everything was clean and pleasant to use. I wish I had discovered earlier that there is a kitchen where we could have eaten yoghurt/muesli breakfast and had coffee. We only found out about the kitchen on 3rd day! I guess it was our own fault lol

-- Fresh and stylish: Recently unveiled hotel boasts pristine accommodations and contemporary decor -- Convenient location near the airport -- Easy subway access to central Hamburg -- Management is responsive via email or phone -- Quick walking access to several supermarkets and bakery nearby -- Nice housekeeping staff -- Innovative people-less check-in system that seems to work well -- Relatively safe suburb of Hamburg -- Flawless wifi despited the railway chaos -- Super loud, continuous noise from nearby train tracks, affecting many rooms including mine; lack of transparency about train noise issues on website and during booking; asked to close windows and use earplugs provided, but that was not helpful -- Sleep quality severely compromised due to railway noise -- No on-site staff or front desk to easily resolve issues -- No in-room fridge, not even a small one; shared kitchen downstairs is more like a coffee bar servicing office staff of ad agency in shared building -- Loud ventilation fan noise on room patio -- Offered full refund and cancellation during city-wide sellout, leaving guests like me, potentially stranded

In short, excellent bang for buck. Will stay again if I ever visit Hamburg. Location: we visited only for 1 night so didn’t really have the chance to explore the surrounding. But seemed like a few restaurants around + near to public transport! Property: excellent property. Well managed check in and check out process, completely automated and streamlined. No hassles whatsoever. Nice terrace and lounge area to relax. Room: extremely clean room with great amenities. A lot of plug points. All in all well designed room. No complaints. Nothing. ??
