Overall, Very nice experience, second year I have been here and the staff are wonderful. Room is perfect size for a place to crash after a day of exploring Wifi was spotty in places, I had to buy more data to use internet, but besides that that's the only downside

Very centric location, small buy nice rooms

It was very dusty in the room.

Everything but location. Location. Located within a high-crime area of Hamburg. We spoke to the police and they told us to leave the area because of the high criminal activity, robberies, drugs and other bad stuff happening there.

Room was clean and fine. There was enough artificial light as well (ie it wasn't dark in the room in the evening) Bathroom was very small. One could sit on the toilet only diagonally, because right in the front of the pot there was a sink. It was really hard to get into the shower, because one needed to squeeze between sink and the toilet pot, distance between which was very, very narrow. I couldn't dry myself with the towel or do any procedures (like apply body lotion) in the bathroom, because there was no space to stand. If I didn't travel alone, things would be awkward.

The room was a decent price and located close to good places to get breakfast. It’s super close to the central station, the s bahn and u bahn and buses. It’s a short walk to the old town and to the central shopping district. I knew this already, but no elevator with steep stairs. Not so easy with luggage. The room is small, as is the bathroom. The vent from the bathroom just releases into the bedroom, not to the outside.

Room appearance (design, furnishings), heat was good and ventilation. The hotel itself was quiet. Bedding and pillows comfy. The key situation was unacceptable. There needs to be key card access so guests can cmoe and go without having to wait at the reception desk for the clerk to receive or return the keys. (room keys don;t leave the building and guests must ring a doorbell and wait to be admitted to building. Also guests have to wait in line to pickup key while the clerk is on the phone, checking in other guests, or worse, NO THERE AT ALL ! I was locked out at 6;30 with my breakfast I had just picked up getting ready to checkout and catch a train. Ridiculous!

Worst hotel ever The room smells of cigarettes, dusk and sweat. No soap, no kettle, stinky sheets and towels. No cleaning plan. The street was full of drunk people and urine, and there was noise from the street. The stairs were very narrow and steepy. No elevator. The photos looks very different than reality.

The hotel was located 5 min walking from the station and 15 min walking to the centre. The receptionist was lovely and available. The area is a no-go area, dirty from day to night, full of drunk people, drug dealers, and prostitutes, mostly immigrants. It is a 4 floor hotel with basic facilities but refurbished, with no lifts; no digital safe in the bedroom. The bathroom is very small, and they only provide one sachet of shower gel for your whole stay. The water pressure was good. Also, when the bedroom light was turned off at night, it was not totally off, but it was still like a soft light, preventing sleeping.

The hotel has an excellent location. RIght beside the main shopping mall in the city, as well as practically across the street form the main train station in Kiel. Though, fairly centrally located, the place is quiet and comfortable. Most of the interest points in the city are well within walking distance form the hotel. I couldn´t get my usual ice-cold shower in the early morning. The cold water seemed to be slightly warmed up & the shower stalls were a bit too small.

Excellent location, one minute from the central station. Just on the other side of the station, one has all the streets with shops and restaurants, making it for a nice walk. The reception is open 24h, and one has to ring the bell to enter, which gives a certain feeling of security. The place has clearly been renovated recently, or at least has been painted. Cleanliness. The place was not clean and we found some hairs on the blankets. The room was not well aerated, there was no window in the bathroom and the ceiling was moldy. The biggest disappointment was that bed sheets and towels were never changed and the room was never cleaned over a multi-day stay. At the end of the stay, we were really happy to leave! If one is on a very tight budget, and for a very short stay, I guess it's acceptable. Otherwise, I would not recommend it.
