Very convenient location close to the Altona train station (with windows closed, not a problem). Excellent value for money. Clean, tastefully arranged, friendly and helpful staff. Did not try the breakfast but it smelled wonderful. Not much. Room a bit noisy (I am a very light sleeper) and pillow too soft. So, details.

The location was good, stuff was very friendly. The bed and pillow were not very comfortable but that might be a matter of taste.

Location at Altona train Station is perfect, room of good size, nice small bathroom, enough hidden space to stow clothes and bags. We had breakfast outside, but the commons room looked interesting.

Great location in a vibrant area, one direction was shops and restaurants and the other direction felt more like a locals area which was really nice. Supermarket was just across the road. Bed mattress was a bit droopy in the middle.

Location was great, right next to Altona S-Bahn and U-bahn stations I knew there wasn't AC, but it was so hot outside and they didn't have fans available to use in the rooms, it's probably comfortable in Spring, Autumn and Winter, but it was almost unbearable at times in the room

Nothing We arrived to be told our room was not in the hotel but a annexe. We told the staff we were not happy to be in the annex which was approximately 200 metres up the road but still were not given a room in the actual Hotel were we had booked to stay. The room in the annex had no Air-conditioning., room temperature was 33 degrees. Supplied fan could not be left on as power went off if you left the room. Bathroom tiles were missing grout and dirty. Coffee machine was in room but no coffee supplied. Fire alarm was disconnected both in the room and in the corridor. Worst hotel ever stayed in and a complete rip off as not what we had booked. Also the absence of the fire alarm is a major safety issue which is probably against German law. Also we were on the 3rd floor and were able to fully open the window normally you have restricted opening for safety reasons.

the welcome was friendly the price was outrageous for what was offered. The cushions were not comfortable at all, and there was only one power outlet even though we were two people. There wasn’t even any hand soap provided. No hairdryer, no shampoo — basically not even the minimum amenities you would expect for €160 per night.
