This hostel offers a free internet terminal and colorful, themed rooms in several buildings. It is located in Hamburg’s St Pauli district, between the Fish Market and the Reeperbahn. Each of the Paulibude's rooms has its own style. All rooms have a sink, while showers and toilets can be found in the hallway. Some rooms have a private bathroom. Bed linen is included in the rate and towels can be provided for a small fee. The buildings date back to 1900 and some rooms were once used as a brothel. St Pauli Underground Station is a 5-minute walk from the Paulibude.

not much very noisy all night despite being a monday/tuesday night (men screaming, cars, random stuff), creepy energies, weird decor, unsafe feeling, PLEASE explicitly say what the arrangement is + former brothel in the red light district!!! we did not want this AT ALL, we almost left, we slept absolutely terribly

I'll go straight to the point that this place is full of spiders. When I read other reviews that said it was dirty, I didn't expect it was this dirty. If you're scared of spiders, seriously don't stay here. But if you're good with them, then this would be a decent place for you and your group.

It was very clean and spacious.Had everything you needed in the kitchen.Good heating that you could control. Some noise late at night from nearby clubs but not a major issue unless you are a light sleeper

The room was clean, cozy and warm. Very close to the train station and the Xmas market of St Pauli, but at the same time not noisy. The wifi quality was very good. The bathroom had always warm water. The WC was always too cold and the trash bin bag wasn't changed frequently. For drying your hands after washing them there was only one fabric towel next to the sink, which I don't consider very hygienic for a shared WC. Also there was a fridge, that the food it had inside was smelling really bad, no idea since when the food was left inside there.

Instructions to access property easy to follow. S-Bahn entrance a short walk. Surprisingly quiet given proximity to nightlife. Be prepared for nightlife paraphernalia in the vicinity.
