Pionier Hotel Hamburg Wandsbek 24H Self Check-in

The whole building had no heat, already some of the guests try to complain but no one was at reception. In winted days in this cold with no heat you need to sleep with clothes on, yeah and thats what i did and next step is to go in hospital.?

As soon as I opened the door, there was a very unpleasant, damp smell. The room didn’t even have a single window for proper ventilation. There was no free Wi-Fi available, which makes the information advertised online misleading. I didn’t see any staff or responsible person during my stay. The noise level was very high, and both the bathroom and toilet were poorly cleaned. I had selected a queen-size bed when booking, but upon arrival I found two single beds instead. Overall, it was definitely not worth €52 per night, and I would not recommend this place. The bed sheets were not clean either. This was the last time I stayed here. Additionally, a family seemed to be living there, and the strong smell of food throughout the building was very unpleasant for me.

The room was fine, spacious enough for the price. I had big windows to open/close to regulate the temperature. The bed was comfortable & towels were supplied. Good bus connection to the local metro train stations or if you fancy some exercise it is about a 20 minute walk. Nothing surprising, it was a basic place to stay, there are no fancy add ons, you're paying for a basic room. The bathroom I had was fine but needs modernising & a good clean. There's no café, so there's no food service to avail of. Just be mindful that the reception has limited hours if you need assistance or need to check in late.

I booked a room for two people and my family booked a room for 4 people. When we came to the hotel to check in, the hotel was closed. We tried many times to contact the hotel management, but no one responded. The next day we came in the afternoon to check in for my family because they had booked two days at the hotel, but no one from the hotel management was present. I do not advise anyone to try the hotel. It is very bad.

Superb

Nothing They screwed me with the booking offering me instead some hotel with bed bugs located 20 kilometres from the centre of the city. They don't know how to message you through Booking, so if something goes wrong with your phone, you'll know about it when you arrive at the hotel (or not, because there's not always someone at the front desk).

Hei Water started coming down from the ceiling. I didn't find anyone in the information room. We can’t sleep because of water. Resepsjon don’t answer, we called them so much and nobody answered.

It was the only hotel available in Hamburg so I didn't have a lot of options Well, it was not really a hotel you would stay in through choice, as my other booking was not recognised this was the only hotel I could find

The room wasn’t clean. It was very dusty

No parking. It costs 6€ extra. Book for one queen bed, but I became twins. This is the second time, I have this kind of treatment.
