Antique Angel Hotel

Like our Sa Pa hotel, I didn't set much expectation. But this one is a great find! The rooms were very clean and comfy, the location is great, and the staff was soooo friendly and helpful. The WIFI is also awesome, didn't have problems doing my remote work. What made this stay unforgettable is Stewie helping us find an extra luggage for our stuff. It was late in the evening but luckily the night market was still open. He put the location in the Google Map and we found a nice luggage quickly! We will definitely stay here again! This hotel is highly recommended! We didn't find an issue we didn't like.

Hotel is located at very good location. Most of tourist attractions are near by like Lake, Trainstreet, Puppet Water Show, Night Market, Shopping. Hotel has elevator. Rooms are bit smaller so is case with most of hotels in Old Quarters. Reception is open 24Hours. They can help you with Airport pick up/ drop at reasonable price. They can help you with Travel to SAPA or any other place. Many restaurants are near by. Room is comfortable. Prefer rooms with balcony. Host guided to nearby Shopping market.Value for money. Will recommend others to stay here. Ventilation is poor as there is small window. Bathroom doesn't have lock

Late arrival - we returned to Hanoi very late- early morning hours.

The hotel is small, but very well located - close to everything in the old quarter and not far from the citadel. The rooms are a bit tiny, but clean and comfortable. We stayed in a balcony room and enjoyed our spacios balcony. The best part thought was the staff. They were friendly and helpfull, always ready to help with whatever we needed - from arranging airport transfer, trouhg offering tour arrangmets to giving us advice on when we can get the best exchage rate or withdraw monney from an ATM without fee.

Did not like the loud construction across the street that kept me from enjoying the room's balcony. Thank goodness, the noise is only temporary.

Despite being in the heart of the Old Quarter, our room was very quiet and large. The staff were friendly and the hotel provided a list of nearby restaurants, coffee shops, and sites. I would stay here again. The transport to and from the airport was easy to arrange and much easier than a Grab.

What I really liked about the property are the friendly staff especially Stewie who accommodated us for our 1 night stay in Hanoi. He gave us a list of where to go in the area especially those that are exclusive in Hanoi. I think we also got an upgrade from a non-balcony room to balcony one so I got the view of the buildings across. The property itself is located in a less crowded street & across other hotels. There are a lot of places to eat nearby, & lots of places where to shop especially for souvenir items. Walkable distance to Hoan Kiem Lake. Although the elevator in the building is really small, about 1-3 persons can fit depending on the body size & other variations like those with luggages or without. The free breakfast (if opted) is located at their sister hotel (La Storia Hotel) right across & it’s a made to order basis on their menu. Limited choices but don’t get me wrong, the food is all good. Hassle free check-in & check-out as well. Accepts cash & cards (with 3% charge) for payment. For people who want to stay in Hanoi Old Quarter, consider staying at Antique Angel Hotel! There is nothing I didn’t like about the property.

Look no further. Antique Angel Hotel is *the* place to stay at when in Hanoi. LOCATION: in the heart of Old Quarter. Most famous attractions, souvenirs shops, and eateries are within less than 10-minute walking distance. One of my favorites is the Ban Mi 25 for bánh mì sandwiches, iced coconut coffee, and people watching. ROOM: HUGE, safe, and clean. Plenty of space for luggage. Towels smell nice. Beds are firm but comfortable. Room has a balcony, which is perfect for travelers who pack light and wash & sun dry their clothes. BATHROOM: Shower water pressure is strong. Toiletries and slippers are provided. A bit on the small side, but shower section has a glass enclosure which prevents the toilet seat and floor to get wet while taking a shower. STAFF: Very warm and friendly welcome. Ms. Mint and Ms. Hannah were quick to respond to any inquiries prior to our arrival and throughout our stay. Front desk provided a long list of restaurant and coffee shop recommendations around the hotel area. EXTRA PERSONALIZED HOSPITALITY: This is my third stay at this hotel and the owner, Mr. Khanh, has always been kind and hospitable. He would always offer snacks to us and even invited us for lunch at a Michelin-awardee bún chả restaurant. Such an unforgettable experience. Nothing.

Exceptional

Very friendly staff who were helpful with local information including restaurants, attractions, and shopping in Hanoi. Our room was refreshed daily and it had a great homely feel for a hotel. The location was great in a reasonably quiet street and we loved the balcony view.
