Overall, the accommodation was very good and more than met my expectations. The staff is very friendly and took care of everything at all times. The open-room concept might not be for everyone, but it wasn't an issue for me. In fact, I found the quiet location very pleasant, even though the hostel is right in the center of the Old Quarter. The beds are okay.. maybe a bit hard for a longer stay, but ok. One toilet per floor might be a bit tight, but I understand that it's probably not possible to have more. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Hanoi. Nothing much.. there's always noisy people in a hostel.

Given the price for a night, I think it's super worth the money! Generally the toilets are clean and sanitary, and the bedroom was clean and cosy. The staff were friendly and the location was ideal as well! The toilet is quite small, I can barely turn around and the toilet hooks are super high up. The soundproof is also quite poor (imagine the entire place being a huge house with not much partition) so if you have to make a call, you have to go to the balcony / outdoor area. Honestly having to deal with these are alright given the price.

The location is in the heart of the old quarter tucked in alleys The showers doors are made of acid glass¿ I think that's the name, so even though it's not see-through, it wasn't comfortable especially when it was in a room where everyone can see. There was also not much space to hang your clothes in the shower.

The stair was a bit steep, but no problem at all!

This is my go-to hostel whenever I visit Hanoi. I’ve stayed here multiple times, and the staff are always very kind and helpful. The property is clean, comfortable, and has all the necessary facilities you need, especially for such a reasonable price. Nothing major. I’ve stayed here several times and always had a good experience.

It is in the beer street, so you will be amazed if you wanna do a beer marathon in Hanoi old town area. Also the staff is very nice and considerate. A good experience to try 3 layers bed.? Not really.

I can leave my bags and things unattended bec they have multiple cctvs

The toilet is clean for me, it was very comfortable for my 3 days here. It is just very very crowded, but still fine

Staff is kind Not well maintained, everything seems old, some broken showers, overall dirty, not enough room in the bedroom so with all the bags it’s a mess. Quiet time not respected (people talking, hairdryer at 4am)

Location is great, friendly staff and clean If they provide a small shower towel that would be great

The hostel has perfect location and the staff was very friendly. 1. I was asked to take off my shoes. I left my flip-flops in a box and when I came back they were gone. I guess someone took them by mistake. I just hate that culture of taking off the shoes in hotels/hostels. It doesn't make any sense to me. 2. The private bathroom is not really private. You have to go out of your room to the common area then enter the bathroom. 3. My room was at 4th floor and there was no elevator. Leg day every day

The staff were very welcoming, and the location was secluded from the noisiness My biggest complaint is that the shower doors are fogged glass, which makes them completely see-through to anyone in the room!!!! I didn’t want to shower after seeing others shower through the door!! The shower is in the dorm room, so there is 0 privacy. I also found that there were not enough toilets for the amount of people, I usually had to wait in line. Also the staff had not heard of the Vietnam e-Visa, which made check-in a little stressful because they said my visa was expired, which it wasn’t. They wanted a physical visa but I only have an e-visa. But after a phone call everything was sorted.

Inexpensive Getting to the location of the property was pretty hard down an alley not good directions or signage
