I really liked the hotel. The location was great, the room and bathroom were pretty big, and the staff was very attentive. The room was a bit old.

Vi bodde här i två omgångar. Först ett par nätter när vi kom till Hanoi, sen hade vi planerat att flyga vidare till Ho Chi Minh-staden, men pga tyfonvarning blev det inte så. Därför gjorde vi en kryssning i Ha Long bay - och fick hjälp med bokningen av både den och en dagstur till Ninh Binh av Daily på Du Palace hotel - och så kom vi sen tillbaka till samma hotell och bodde en natt till. Resultaten blev lite blandade. Märk väl att detta var vår första kontakt med hotellstandard i Vietnam på en tre-veckors rundresa, så betyget hamnar i perspektiv av hotell vi bodde på senare. De första två nätterna hade vi bokat tre rum. Ett till oss vuxna och ett vardera till våra barn, så att vi alla skulle kunna få ostörd sömn för att anpassa oss efter jetlag och dygnsrytm. De rum vi fick då var mycket bra. Som på så många andra hotell, har vi vi förstått, hade rummen inga fönster - men det passar oss bra. Det blir ordentligt mörkt och även betydligt tystare. Sen åkte vi alltså på kryssning, som ordnades och bokades av Ms Daily - som, tillsammans med övrig personal på hotellet var ENORMT hjälpsam. Detta var min första kontakt med Vietnamesisk service och hänsyn till kunden och jag har absolut inget att anmärka på i detta, annat än att de gjorde allt för att tillgodose våra önskemål. Man kunde kanske tro att det skulle bli dyrare att gå via hotellets bokning men när jag kollade exakt samma resa på Getyourguide så blev det faktiskt billigare för oss. Ms Daily höll vad hon lovade och ordnade rabatt åt oss så det kan jag VERKLIGEN rekommendera att ni gör om ni funderar på utflykt i Hanoi. Med det sagt hade det räckt med en dagstur i Ha long bay, att sova en natt på båten var visserligen lyxigt men kändes överdådigt och inte nödvändigt - men lämnade oss ändå med en känsla av semester i semestern. Vi hade kunnat bo här igen, men bestämde oss (när vi skulle komma tillbaka till Hanoi för två nätter) att ta ett lyxigare alternativ med takpool för att få guldkant på semesteravslutningen Det som drog ner betyget var främst att vi fick myror på rummet som invaderade en oaktsamt dåligt försluten godispåse vi hade med oss hemifrån. Andra gången vi kom tillbaka, efter kryssningen, var det kryp i form av kackerlacka som föranledde rumsbyte - och då hade det ena rummet en alltför stark doft av rengöringsmedel.

We like the hospitality every service is good. The staff is too good and well spoken. Also we had a best experience with Ms.Daily she helped us to book a cruise to Ha long bay and we had spent best time there overall experience is best.

Good sized room, quiet even on busy street, helpful staff - communication was on time and clear. Excellent central location

Very friendly staff especially Pham ? and the guy who is in-charge in the breakfast buffet. You will feel home while you stay in the property. They help you with places that you can visit. Nice food and location is near to the night market, restaurants, spa, ATM Machine, and souvenir shops. If you are looking for affordable place to stay, this place is highly recommended.

Staff were very friendly! Good breakfast in the morning. The room was fine overall but i just couldn’t get over the amount of dust on the head board…

Staff was always friendly and helpful and location was within walking distance to all our activities. Room was large, comfortable and quiet. Hotel was clean and breakfast was good. Our room did have a deep bathtub which was a bit difficult for this older couple. Internet did not work well in our room so we sometimes had to step out into the hall.

I stayed 3 nights with my sister at Du Palace Hotel & Travel in Hanoi. The location is perfect for discovering the Old Quarter, and the lake is within walking distance. We really enjoyed walking around the area and exploring the city. The breakfast was good, and the breakfast staff were friendly and welcoming, which made the mornings pleasant. We arrived directly to Hotel without having Vietnamese Dong (VND) yet as Booking offered us free taxi. I expected to pay the exact amount shown on the booking application, either in VND or euros, but the hotel asked for 5 euros extra due to the exchange rate difference, even though the booking clearly mentioned the amount to pay in Euro. They also suggested withdrawing money from an ATM, despite the extra withdrawal fees (which normally they know about it). I had to spend almost one hour searching for a place to exchange money because the banks were closed but status not shown so in Google Maps, and eventually I found that jewelry shops which only 6 min walking, offered better exchange options, which they could suggest too, beside asking us where we come from and where we are heading to after our stay with them. Another uncomfortable situation happened the next day in the evening when the receptionist asked me again to pay, apparently forgetting that I had already paid. This also showed that it would have been possible to pay later, while at check-in they pressured me to pay immediately. Additionally, the hotel has strict rules about paying for any stains in the room, which felt uncomfortable, especially because we already found stains on the bedsheets when we arrived. The staff cleaned them and apologized afterward, which we appreciated.

Staff were very helpful especially Mr. Thomas. Wondeful buffet breakfast. Rooms were clean anf good.

The hotel is a bit old.

Room was spacious and well maintanied and Stella at Reception was great assistance with regards to suggestion around the city. She is always smiling and provided us with express check in . Staff at brekfast arae was great and breakfast spread was superb. Nothing what I think off.
