Wifi and location, beds were comfy for my taste (I like a tougher mattress for good sine support) Initially I wanted to give a higher rating but everything changed when I moved from a private room to a shared room. The private room was ok, the floors were very dirty but at least nobody disturbed me at 6AM in the morning with a loud check in like in the dorm. Why the hell they let people in the dorms at that time, I really don't get it. Besides the one receptionist that was super nice, the rest of the staff was not only rude but incredibly disrespectful. The older lady came in my dorm at 7 (after I was woken up at 6 by 6 very loud ladies that just arrived) and she started shouting at me to check out while I was just about to get dressed. Beside this, she was very rude, disrespectful and didn't do her job at all. The funny part was that the higher floors where the dorms are, were actually cleaner than the lower ones. The whole place is not mentained, you get stuck in the toilets, sometimes remain without water while showering. The smell from the nearby meat market is so bad, you can't sit in the common area in the morning. Breakfast is very basic, sponge white bread for toast and jam and sweetened coffee with milk. All in all, I don't recommend it.

Very interesting place. I love the location down the little alley, there is a lot of really local food just on your doorstep. The place itself is a bit gross on face level, it have a lot of leaks and water damage and age but I actually enjoyed my stay here. It is a very relaxed vibe for such a hectic area. But the value for money is great. I got a private room with 2 beds for the same I have paid for a bed in a hostel dorm before.

The location The hygiene was extremely poor—there were cockroaches in the bathroom, water leaking everywhere, and my single room had mold.
-
A bit tough because no elevator, but the staff would help you. Under and around my bed was very dirty, filled with trash and dusty. This is the only thing I did not like . However the staff attended to it the best they could.

Tucked away from the busy streets but still within walking distance to everything. Breakfast was simple with toast, butter/jam, coffee/ tea/ milk, and cereal. We came back multiple times Nothing bad

The location is the best thing about this place. Toilets are usually clean, but elevator and reception are dirty and chaotic. There is stuff everywhere very messy. The breakfast is only a piece of plain toast, that shouldn’t be categorized as breakfast. Very noisy and place doesn’t smell good.

Wifi is good. A/c is cool. The shared toilet is clean. The room is small, but that’s fine for me On one of the day, they repaired something in the toilet, but my room ended up wet because the pipe from the a/c in my room leaks. The breakfast is only toast and bit of cereal.

We did not like anything about this hostel... wish I could add something good (and we stayed in many hostels before) The hostel is located in the middle of a meat market so the smell is unberable. There were cockroaches in the shower There was a huge rat near the kitchen that we saw The room door could not close The "breakfast" is literally bread and black coffe nothing else. The area is super loud - we stayed 3 days amd everyday at 06am and at 01:30am there were construction it was impossible to sleep The rooms and the showers nothing like on the pictures - eberything was dirty and with wholes Would not recommend - for the same price you can find way better hostels!!!

There is a very odd smell in the front street of the hostel which makes hanging out on the 1st floor very hard.

Not as expected; I was underwhelmed by my stay here. Would not recommend unless you are literally staying one night. There’s a difference between cheap and dirty. The property does not look as shiny and fresh as the pictures on the website, and feels run down. - I stayed in a private room that turned out to have no windows - there was a curtain but it looks out onto an interior window into the corridor. Glass pane inside the door let in light from the corridor all night. Room was absolutely tiny, although bed was comfortable. - On the 2nd floor, the shared showers and toilets are literally just in the corridor, right by where you get out of the elevator. At one point I had a choice between one toilet with a broken lock and another that had bugs crawling on the seat, and at another point there was a bug in the shower along with a dark clump of hair. The staff didn’t really seem to care and were very casual with general tidying of the place. - I dropped off some laundry and paid, but when I went to pick it up, got asked to pay again - I could tell the member of staff was trying it on because of how easily they backed down when I said I’d already paid. - When I initially asked about an airport transfer the lady behind the desk said ‘350k oh no wait sorry it’s early in the morning so it’s 450k’. I felt this was a scam and later asked to book with a different member of staff who made the booking at 350k, proving me right. - Breakfast was stale cereal and soggy plain white bread. Fine for free but very mediocre. - That said, the staff were able to organise me an airport transfer at the last minute which I appreciated as my other plan fell through - The location is very good for accessing the old quarter and is easily accessible from the bus from the airport

It is clean and the beds are comfortable, they have an elevator which helps a lot with your things. They offer breakfast but the truth is quite bad, there is only some toast and butter, there are no fruits, no eggs or anything like that, they also offer coffee and tea all day but it is not true, it is even limited in breakfast, once it is over there is no more. I chose this place because it had breakfast included but it leaves a lot to regret because if you have some intolerance you can’t eat anything. There is a construction next to the hostel, which makes it very noisy and dusty

The included breakfast used to be much better last year

Really the only thing good about my stay here was the location. False advertisement at max! My room was so small I could only turn 360 around there was no space. I had to stand on the bed to get changed. The room was also dirty with so much dust that I was sneezing so much and the walls are extremely paper thin I could hear absolutely everything. A local guy was screaming on the phone at 2am I think he works at the hostel and using the rooms. No respect for guests They also accused me of not paying for my 2 nights stay the whole 3 days I was staying there. Luckily I had proof on my phone by taking a picture of me paying the manager. What manager forgets about their customers payment.

Nice staff who helped me check in very late when I arrived in Ha Noi. Pretty simple place, great location, and fine stay for sleeping but not much else. Worth it given the price

Very good

Location. The beds are comfortable and the hot shower is good. The toilets and showers each have a fan that makes too much noise, it can be heard in the rooms and it is too annoying, specially at night. I told the owner as feedback and she couldn't care less, ignoring me completely. I would look for a hostel in the area around St. Joseph's cathedral, it's nicer and quieter. The first night I was given a room that was disgusting (very dirty walls). She moved me to another room the next day but kept on renting it out to other guests instead of locking it and painting it. Bad management!

Communication with the staff was weird at times. The youngest receptionist has attitude issues and is not very efficient. She can get angry and just ignore you and go away while you talk to her. The cleaning lady is grumpy, but seems to be running the show, so if you have any requests.you should translate it on your phone and go directly to her, otherwise things may not get done if the youngest staff is at the reception. Most lockers in the dorm are out of order. Not all bed lamps are functioning. .
