Nothing about the hotel , just the vicinity as it is a walking street with a lot of street food vendors In the evenings the narrow hallway has no lights , so with the narrow stairs ( dark) just the tiny elevator to lift us from thr ground floor to our floor , Each floor consist only of (2) rooms facing each other with a small passage which serve as a narrow hallway

I had booked the hotel for three days but checked out the very next day. I was quite disappointed with the size and overall condition of the property. It needs complete renovation. The photos are misleading. This place might be suitable for backpackers or those looking for a budget, hotel-like experience, but it is not ideal for travelers seeking comfort. Unfortunately, I was not given refund for the unused nights. The receptionist also requested that I not share my experience in a review, which I found unprofessional.

Its surrounded with restaurants. Tourist attractions are just walking distance away.

Location is awesome! You can step out on to a bustling street and just blocks from the famous train street and it’s still quiet enough to get a great night’s sleep! The room and bathroom were clean. Breakfast options include eggs and delicious drinks :) A couple of the light switches were broken and the A/C dripped on our bag soaking our belongings right before a long flight :/

Hanoi Street Hotel has a great location, but what really makes this place stand out is the staff. I thoroughly enjoyed my time, especially getting to know each of the staff members who were always cordial and friendly.

The room is very dark, cold and humid. It doesn't look like in the pictures. There is a big tree in front of the windows, so no natural light, even on sunny day. At night, it was very cold and the aircon didn't really work on heater, so not confortable at all. It is noisy indeed, but more because of the people inside of the hotel.

The staff was great and it was close to everything. The room was too warm and the AC was not working. I was some reaction to the bed sheets where I was up most of the night sweaty and itchy. I have no idea where the reaction was coming from. It is also in an area though close to everything, but it was filled with restaurants and was always busy and loud even at 3am. The breakfast was not matched well. You could get one item from a list, for example, a cinnamon roll or pho. Does not seem like equal items.

Location, breakfast, bed, personell. I fully recommend this place! I did not like the fact that my shower cabin had some hole and flooded my bathroon floor. I forgot to mention this to the staff.

Wonderful Staff. They also gave a 10 percent discount at their quaint "Fika" swedish Coffee House. The Salted Coffee is to die for. Location was great, right around the corner from the famous Train Street! Was a rather enjoyable stay!! THanks. Location was also on a rather busy outdoor restaurant, so bring Ear Plugs if you wanna sleep.

Its just the hair blower is not working perfectly. Maybe because its already over used

This hotel was probably my favorite part of my stay in Hanoi. Staff were so kind, I was greeted every time I passed the reception desk ensuring such a welcoming stay. On arrival, Quien coordinated with my airport transfer to meet me and help bring my luggage inside. A gesture I appreciated as I was unfamiliar with the rules of Hanoi traffic on my first day! The room and hotel was exceptionally clean. Within a few steps of the entrance you have a mix of modern cafes or traditional Vietnamese restaurants at very affordable prices. Train Street is within minutes walking but located behind the neighborhood ensuring you avoid any busyness /noise. I easily walked to the city centre daily to visit many touristic attractions like the Note cafe, the lake, shows, old quarter etc. Staff were so accommodating at extending my stay after I commenced my booking. The mini fridge was stocked with ice cold water which was heavenly after long hot days touring around. The prices for the mini fridge were extremely affordable also! The only downsides for me were the cash payment for the hotel (a trend across Vietnam) but overall I really recommend this hotel. Also there could be a shelf in the shower to easily grab shampoos etc. instead of on the floor.

Super friendly and helpful staff. One of the breakfast highlights? Their amazing homemade cinnamon rolls! The hotel is right in the middle of the food market area, and just a few steps away from the famous Hanoi Train Street. You’re also really close to the lively shopping streets. The bathroom was a bit old-school by Western standards, but everything worked just fine and it did the job!

The staff were impeccable, especially when I forgot my work backpack outside and they secured it for me... The room, although dated and lacking soundproofing, still met expectations. Good old earplugs solve it! With its convenient location, comfortable beds, clean sheets and towels, a fridge, hairdryer, and elevator access, this place is about as perfect as it gets! The breakfast is a good selection, and the cafe serves excellent coffee. There are so many restaurants around, it's great for foodies!
