Read all Google reviews to know what you’re getting yourself into. Very, very mismanaged hotel. It’s a shame, because the location is prime. They keep on blaming being “under new management” but it’s been 2 whole months since the bad reviews I’ve read post booking and still nothing has changed. I can complain about the rusty taps, shower head that tilts when you open the pressure and sprays straight in your face, cold water, rooftop bar closed (yet EVERYWHERE advertised), poorly built bathtub that builds up water and “clean room” button that does not work. But, these are hopefully things the new owner/management will change in time. What there is however NO excuse for, is: shockingly zero communication (don’t try to message them through booking.com, no reply), room was not cleaned when we got there the afternoon (said we have to give them till 5pm, even after I asked them at breakfast to please look at our bobbing showerhead), dirty carpets in passage, random stacks of boxes in breakfast area, below average breakfast and table setting, and cleaning bags in passages. It’s just all so sad. I paid less at other hotels in Vietnam and had incredible experiences. This is a scam for the price. I can go on for days about this horrible hotel.

Ths staff were so friendly & helpful. Location was perfect all you need when not out touring. Breakfast was great to start the day., rooms were comfy & clean.

Staff was friendly and attentive Bookings.com should be much more careful about choosing the photos. The hotel did not look even close to the photos presented. On the other hand, Google gives much more adequate info and raying (2.5), which represents the reality

The hotel was in a good location. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was also good with buffet or you could choose fresh hot items off a menu. The staff were so friendly The rooftop bar wasn't open as it was being re decorated. Which was a shame.

Ruby the concierge was amazing. She set up all our travel arrangements to SaPa and took care of everything for us while we were in Hanoi. Ruby goes out of her way to make your stay wonderful.

Wasnt what was described. New hotel but not finished, lift stopped working, no hot water - they were fixed but had to wait hours. Staff were lovely and nice about everything so for that we accepted and paid. Lessons learnt, when something is so cheap there’s usually a catch.

Staff was very friendly. Location was superb. Property is old and lacks warm water often. Sometimes there is no water pressure, sometimes the pressure is too strong. The rooms are old. Breakfast variety was lacking and they served the same breakfast food all 8 nights we stayed there. Walls are kinda thin also so you can hear voices from the next room. Security was poor as another guest could open our room door with their key card.

Great location, staff lovely & very helpful. Bed comfortable Shower over the bath, for a short person quite a big step out. Gap in door which shows light from hallway, not a biggy but I like a dark room.

Staff and location were great! The bathtub was situated high for no reason. The fixtures looks old, dingy, and not cleaned.

The location was great, in the heart of the Old Quarter not far from the lake. The room was a good size and bed was comfortable. The staff were very attentive and friendly during our stay. The shower/bath combo was difficult to get in/out of. Offeres a wide variety of breakfast however it was not hot/fresh.
