The hotel has been designed and finished to a very high standard, with interiors that reflect elegance, attention to detail, and a strong sense of character. From the moment you enter, the experience feels polished and welcoming, supported by excellent service throughout. One of the standout features of the hotel is its evening ambience. Live lounge music creates a refined and relaxed atmosphere, adding a layer of sophistication that elevates the overall stay. A beautifully styled boutique hotel best suited to travellers who appreciate design, service, and atmosphere, particularly those comfortable with more compact rooms, while those seeking greater space and privacy may wish to explore alternative options. The rooms are tastefully decorated, however, they are on the smaller side, and the layout presents a practical consideration. Windows open into a narrow internal courtyard, and when the curtains are drawn, privacy is quite limited. At a price point of around USD $200 per night, this we felt was unacceptable. You could never open the curtains as people walking on the next corridor would see inside a room. When one pays USD200 you dont expect such a poor guest experience and this was one hotel during our tour of SE Asia we thought we had paid for breakfast but we found it was not included.

We had a wonderful stay at the Apricot Hotel. The location right on the lake and beside the old quarter was perfect for exploring Hanoi. The hotel is beautiful old world style with interesting art and the staff are friendly. Our booking included breakfast which was delicious. Would definitely stay again!

It was a good hotel, but my room had no windows, those that were in there were fake.

Meals were excellent. Room was very comfortable and clean. I felt safe in this great location. Staff was excellent Can´t find anything that could have been better

The Apricot was magnificent! (we actually stayed for five nights, not two, as three were part of a package tour). The location was excellent - we didn't catch any taxis or Grabs for the entire time. Everything in walking distance. I was very impressed by the fact that EVERYTHING worked (eg. lights, doors, safe, etc. - which is unusually good, in my experience). The hotel is very elegant and stately - marble everywhere; grand lobby; excellent staff. Restaurants were excellent and the buffet breakfast was extensive and fine. Probably the only thing is that because of the atrium above the lobby, the buffet breakfast is spread over a large area and requires quite a bit of walking to gather one's breakfast!

3rd time staying, enjoy myself each time. Great staff and wonderful location.

The people were very friendly and helpful. The room was very nice. The breakfast buffet could’ve been a little better. We thought it was pricey for what you got. The selection is not very good.

Excellent service, nice location and superb breakfast

A nice and elegant hotel, very well located downtown Hanoi! The hotel is very noisy. We had a room opening on the inside corridor, and unfortunately we could not sleep because of an unpolite and noisy neighbor, doing heavy noise at 3:00 AM. We asked the hotel staff to solve our problem. They offered to change our room, and sent us to a room looking out the street, in front of the lake. Unfortunately,on the lakeside, , there is a public gymnastic course, with heavy music, that wake you up at 6:30AM every morning... The staff told us that it was not possible to do anything... We came back from our holidays very tired!!!!

The hotel was very clean, modernized, and has good food for room service. The location was great - walking distance from many restaurants, bars and street vendors. We booked this online with a shuttle but we couldn't get a hold of the hotel the day before so we ended up booking our own shuttles to get to the hotel.
