Hanoi Inner Hotel

Nothing. Just location. Water wasn’t running, AC didn’t work and they didn’t give us towels. They didn’t even apologize and offer discount. We had to go to another hotel.

I suggest they replace a new shower head.

The response time is little slow. Also they are not flexible in terms of check in time.

The price. Preface this with we book this place because it had good reviews and the photos looked good. We flew into Hanoi very late and it was too late to change hotels for the night. The photos did not represent the room we stayed in. The room was very dated, floors were severely worn and scratched. The furniture was beat up and very old as well. The mattress was not comfortable and the sheets and blankets had stains on them. We had to ask for new linen. The bathrooms was not nice either. The garbage can in the bathroom was not changed. Dirty toilet paper in garbage can - EWWW. Had the staff empty the garbage can too. There were ants crawling around the room as well. I think the photos on the listing are from a very long time ago. Lucky we stayed one night and then stayed overnight on a boat in Halong Bay and then changed to 22Land Residence down the street at 71 P. Hàng Bông on our return. It was a few dollars more and the rooms are up to date and came with a great breakfast.

Good hotel for the rate. The staff were helpful and helped us check in late. Good sized rooms and location is good Like most hotels in hanoi the photos are not a true depiction but you get what you pay for. Maybe the star ratings are different in Vietnam to Australia. The room was weathered and the bathroom was okish - but all clean. The shower had absolutely no pressure.

The place is at the center of the old quarter. During the Christmas stay, the place was bustling with a variety of cultural activities. The hotel staff, especially Lucy, was exceptional during our trip to Vietnam. She is a super helpful person. If you ask for something, she will arrange it in a blink. We enjoyed staying at this hotel. Thanks, team Lucy! See you soon someday. The room we got on the second floor had a window, but it looked out onto the side of another building. So, during the day, we had to switch on the light. But the good thing is that we were not in the room during the daytime, by the way. Other than that, all was okay.

Location is great, in heat of old town! Size of room is good! So dirty bathroom!!! The sheets are worn out. It’s some insect in room. Not recommend.

I prepared my own breakfasts as none was provided, but there is a good convenience store nearby opposite the cathedral, and many cafe and restaurant options. Refrigerator setting was too low, so hotel beer cans began making popping sound as the beer froze and expanded inside. The cans just bent outwards at each end. Extraordinary! The nearby laundry has a good service, but the clothes come back with super strong sweet scent that my wife objected to when I returned home. I was nagged by the distant noise of what sounded like a water pump going on and off continuously. This was noticeable at quiet times during the night. But it was not excessive and was no problem once I fell asleep. Best solution was active days and going to bed tired.

We were on the top floor with a bit of a view. Room was nice. The quilt cover appeared not to be washed. It had a spot of something yellowish on the inside which was attached and came off. Was a bit off-putting. The mattress was springy, and the springs clunked when you moved around.

The location of the hotel is good, 10 min walk from old quarter. Also the staff was very nice, they gave us a map of the town when we checked in, it was very usefull The hotel was very old and not very well maintained, I would t go back.
