1. Staff are really friendly and helpful. I could not have asked for more from them. An absolute joy 2. They allowed me to store the luggage at the hotel on check out and also when i went on an overnight cruise at Ha Long Bay 3. The bed is the most comfortable one of all the hotels i have stayed in Vietnam over 2 weeks 4. there is a lift and also a porter to help with luggage 5. wifi and AC was good 6. spacious room and quite quiet 7. really good location and i was able to walk everywhere in the Old Quarter The below points are just me being picky. You will see i have still given a 9/10 overall as these are all minor points and didn't affect my overall experience that much: 1. The bathroom looked a bit old in places (e.g the bathtub) 2. as others have mentioned, no natural light. However, it does say in the booking that the view is an inner courtyard so can't complain as it is clear from the outset 3. there was only green teabags. Would be good if there was black tea and milk 4. 3% surcharge if you want to use a credit card to pay

It was a comfortable room, very nice staff and a good breakfast. There was no external window for our room, which wasn't clear when booking.

Breakfast was great, bed was comfortable and television had Netflix provided. It is definitely a 3 Star hotel, not for those accustomed to luxury. Good value for those on a budget who just need a good breakfast and a clean, comfortable base for exploring.

The girls at the reception seemed nice. They have loundary service. The room was not like in the photos. It was very used and outdated, and have never seen deep cleaning. The sheets has many stains and does not seemed cleaned, so we asked for new ones. There is no window to outside so it is hard to get fresh air in. They also do not wash the floor. The breakfast was nothing special, but you will find something to eat, just wont taste good. And expect awful coffee and waterly juice drinks. Be aware that they take extra money if you are paying by card, not like wtitten in booking.com as all the fees/taxes included. When we wated to pay for laundry and taxi serviced they tried to charge extra money, because they made mistakes calculating and it took time to prove their foult. Also when we order taxi, they delivered us to wrong location, so we had to order another to get to our destination. Staff did not take responsibility, lied and tried to force that to us that is our foult they brought us to wrong location. After a lot of arguing they paid the difference at least.

Great location! Right in the middle of the old quarter. Window in the room led to the hallway, so essentially no window in the room.

The staff was the biggest bonus, they were extrememly friendly and helpful. The hotel overall was nice and clean and felt very cozy. Breakfast was also good and there was a lot of variety for a smaller hotel.
