The staff was amazing. Above and beyond. The breakfast buffet was so good and so many choices. Great location. The room was spacious, clean and up to date. And a great value.

Staff was very attentive to our needs and very friendly. Dung-Jun went above and beyond in her service. We appreciated the cleanliness. The staff helped us on several occasions.

The Location is amazing.

We were very pleased of our room except of the water coming out from the shower. It flooded into the hallway but it got fixed after our 3rd night stay. After we take our shower, the shower water somehow overflowed the shower room up to the hallway at one point.

Very comfortable and clean bed. In the heart of the old quarter, very close to the activities and shops. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable too. Great breakfast.

The lighting was quite dim, and the light underneath the bathroom sink remained on all the time.

We liked how it was central to everything. The rooms were comfortable and clean. It had a nice French colonial flair. We didn’t dislike anything about property.

No swimming pool at this price

Booked a superior room without a window, and upon arriving late in the afternoon, we were warmly welcomed by Martin. As he escorted us upstairs to show us our room he surprised us with an upgrade to a 2 story suite instead of the standard one I had originally booked. To say we were surprised and grateful would be an understatement. The room itself is absolutely stunning. Upon entry, there’s a main living area, with a spiral staircase leading up to the upper level where the bed and bathroom are located. While it’s not the most practical layout, going up and down the stairs can be a bit of a hassle it certainly adds a unique and impressive touch. The bed was incredibly comfortable, a welcome change from the firmer mattresses we’d experienced elsewhere in Hanoi. The room was also spotless. The bathroom however, has a shower over the bath, which is quite tricky to get in and out of and the bath surface is rather slippery, again, not the most practical feature. Breakfast was fantastic, just as others have mentioned on here. There’s a wide selection of both Western and Asian options. Eggs cooked to order, pancakes, sushi, you name it, it’s there. Overall, we couldn’t fault this place. At around $100 AUD per night including breakfast for two, it offers excellent value. The mini fridge was properly cold (always a plus), and the top-floor open bar provides spectacular views of the city lights at night. The breakfast staff are all wonderful but especially An Le, who was most helpful in advice and any travelling questions we asked her each morning. Visited a pottery gallery Cafe & The Temple of literature due to An Le's suggestions. We would absolutely stay here again and only wish we had booked it from the start of our trip. Right at the heart of Ha Noi Traffic issue

The staff are super. Our concierge, Ms An made our stay very comfortable and very pleasant. She made arrangement for our activities and even when she is no longer in the Hotel she made sure things are alright. On our last day, we checked-out before lunch for our last activity and we return to the hotel to pick-up our luggage we were still able to use the facility to freshen-up for our flight. On weekends, most street at the Old Quarter are closed for the night market, to meet our Driver, Ms An made sure another conscierge Ms June and a Bellhop walked with us to the meeting point and checked and talked with the driver to make sure we had the right car and driver (we had 4 luggage and they handled everything to the meeting point). The Hotel Sky Bar was also great, good food and drinks and nice view of Hanoi, even better at night. Happy hour was truly happy for us, the staff was also very accommodating. Our daily buffet breakfast was another highlight, Asian, Western and English Breakfast are available. The staff made sure we had our choice done right. Our 4 days breakfast was always a delight and choices of the drinks at the bar was plenty. Location is also exceptional, if you want everything near you. Market, restaurants, points of interest and at 5:30AM we walk 5 minutes to Ho Kiem Lake so we get to see how locals enjoy their routines early morning and late at night. None.
