Location could not be better, fantastically helpful and thoughtfully attentive staff, more than adequate breakfast service, great shower pressure and water temperature, room temperature and aircon worked well, very quiet for good sleeps, the bedside lights are handy, pleasant ground floor reception area with good aircon whilst waiting for rides. This was my second stay and it was just as good as my first stay. I look foward to my third stay. OH! I also had a good foot massage on the top floor which was a lovely treat. Basically there was nothing I did'nt like: The wifi in my room was mostly very strong. One time it was a bit weak, but I notified the staff and they quickly rebooted my wifi for me, making it strong again. My room only had a window facing the inner atrium. At first this felt weird, but then it was fine. After all, I was not staying in the hotel to sit in my room 24/7. No problem at all and the inner atrium has an installation of colourful lanterns which is very nice to look at. On the weekends, like many hotels in this area, when the Old Quarters are shut down for night market the taxi could not drop me directly at my hotel. However, the staff promptly met at the drop off point and the walk is super short. Too easy. Nothing is a problem. 10/10 THANK YOU, ORIENTAL SUITES!

The location was great, right in the middle of the market. The breakfast was only ok. The hot water was dangerously hot, I got scolded quite badly by accident when I bumped into the shower valve. The worst part was the checkout. My wife had her period and apparently left a stain on the sheets which the hotel videoed and played on an Ipad in the lobby for anyone to see whilst explaining that they now would have to wash the sheets, for which they charged us twenty dollars. They explained that normally they charged 40 dollars, showing a list of things they charge for if stolen. My wife was mortified. I stay in hotels about a 100-150 days a year, but this is the most jarring experience I've had in the last 30 years. (I had a weird experience in Shreveport Louisiana once in 1994). This behavior and treatment of guests is inexcusable! Also, they tried to charge twice for the mini bar that was not restocked. They had a spa which was next to a karaoke place with jarringly loud music while you are trying to relax during your massage. How this place achieved any kind of recognition is beyond me.

Hotel is located in the center of the old town. Easy to access the main shopping area and night market is right outside the hotel. Hotel is in poor condition , elevator smells terrible. Room shower is over a round bathtub and water goes everywhere. Breakfast buffet is poor and not clean. Staff is nice but not very helpful at all. We booked this hotel for the 2 bedroom suite and when we arrived we were told that the room was not available and they had to give us a smaller single room. For the price they charge you can get much nicer hotels in the area . Wouldn’t recommend it at all.

The hotel was Wonderfull, the staff were first class, they couldn’t do enough to help you. The breakfast was plentiful and well organised. The only problem we experienced was the location of the hotel and due to the street market the area is very busy and the traffic is nearly at a standstill !!! We arrived at the train station and booked a Grab taxi we waited 10mins and they cancelled. We then tried to book a normal taxi but they refused to take us to the hotel location due to the heavy traffic congestion. So we had to walk 5k with all our luggage through the traffic ? the next morning we needed a taxi back to the station and the Grab service cancelled again due to traffic around that area. Not the hotels fault !!!!

The location of this hotel is great; in the heart of the action and markets and very close to the Lake. The staff were friendly and very willing to assist in any way. The spa was very good and the girls there were lovely. I liked that my room had a balcony and there was a roof top area as well. The breakfasts at the hotel were good but lacked range and food was often cold. There is an a la carte option which is nice but eggs benedict came out cold and were barely cooked. The sliding door to my room balcony was very hard to slide and when a couple of screws fell out and then a piece of the door itself there was no repair done. The beds are hard and in my room the shower was over the bath and very high to climb into with no safety rail. There is a rooftop area which is a nice option to view the city but there were only 3 chairs there and one of them had the metal seat all ripped and it was a bit dangerous. All that said I still did enjoy my stay at this hotel.

It is located right in the center of Old Town, near the lake. All the tourists attractions are within walking distance and there are plenty of restaurants, cafe, money exchange nearby. If you are into shopping there are plenty of shops in same street and within walking distance. This hotel has a lift so don’t stress walking through the stairs. There is a spa at the top floor which offers amazing service (recommended). Room was spacious and comfortable with almost all the amenities available, bathroom was equipped with a good shower with all sanitary kits. I booked for just one night and ended up staying for my entire stay at Hanoi for 4 nights. Pro Tip: If you happen to visit during weekend, the street in front of the hotel turns into the Night Market where you get a great deals for quality products. WiFi connectivity requires improvement as it gets disconnected sometimes automatically.

Superb hotel. We enjoyed the stay. Rooms were clean and well maintained. Bathroom was spacious. Staff is extremely helpful. Each staff who interacted was extraordinary. The location is great. Right in the night market street that was so convenient to explore shopping. We literally shopped till we dropped. The bathrooms had a strange stale smell. Something is not right in the drainage system. The breakfast is very limited. But the service from staff is exceptional. They are ready to serve and help.

They had an elevator! Mattress was hard but they added a foam topper which helped. Nice spa on the 8th floor. Breakfast buffet was good. REALLY loud street noises every day until 10pm - but that's the old quarter. Bring your earplugs!
