The hotel is in the perfect location, right next to the lake and the Old Quarter. The rooms are really clean, but the highlight is the service, which is exceptional.

There are no breakfast options at the hotel but there is an abundance of restaurants, coffee shops and street food all around the hotel. I liked the shower had the soap and shampoo dispenser on the wall. The only thing I can think of is an additional soap at the sink

I love the hotel. I will rebook my hotel there if ever I visit Hanoi again. First, the staff is the friendliest. They speak English and very helpful. They suggest where to eat, where to go, and they are very happy to help to confirm the location of my grab booking. The hotel feels like it is in the center of Hanoi. It is just across lake and a few minite walk to the Opera house where most of tours' meeting place. The hotel is also near the old quarters where you can eat the cheapest delicious food in South East Asia. It is just beside the shopping district and market place. Stepping outside the hotel, you know it will be a great day. Also, the hotel suggested my family to book a service van when we went to the airport. It exceeded my expectation. I really really recommend this hotel. NOTHING. I love that hotel. I really pray that hotel will flourish.

If you want to be in the most central and exciting place in Hanoi, right next to the Lake, the square with an abundance of activity and probably the busiest road intersection in Hanoi - and still feel at home and in peace - this is definitely the place for you. Get one of the two rooms with a balcony overview of the whole spectacle if you can, it’s worth it! If you’re staying in the weekend, you’ll even see the transformation of the streets from the scooter circus into the night market, a festival of sight, sound and taste. The view from the rooftop terrace overlooking the whole lake and square is the best you can get. And then off course there’s Tracy, the top professional friendly hotel manager and her competent staff who effectively and with a smile and good English will assist you promptly and flexibly. So again, do you want a cosy, clean, well run and somewhat peaceful Gem of a Hotel in the Eye of the Hanoi Hurricane, this has to be your choice. It will certainly be mine next time in Hanoi.

Service and staff were excellent and helpful. Lobby and common areas are beautiful. One of the electrical plugs in the room was not working. Hotel electrician has to come twice to fix it. The bathroom sink has slow drain problems several occasions required hotel staff to fix it.

The location and people are the best. We keep going back. They take good care of us.

We loved the staff, the cleanliness, the view off our balcony, the amazing rooftop looking out to the lake. We took our own beers and snacks up and had perfect evenings. I was worried knowing that the hotel is right in the heart of the action, which is cool when looking out during the day with the doors open, but we were so surprised how quiet the room is when you shut the balcony doors. A little hard to fit two clam suitcases. We unpacked one so ended up not being a problem
