It’s very good if you have a backpack, but if you have luggage, you’ll have a problem because there’s no elevator.

Location and spacious room. Location is walking distance from most landmarks in the old quarter. Have nice bar near by that plays live music everyday.

Great location, Nice and helpful staff. I always stay here when Im in Hanoi since 2019. Nice spacious clean rooms. Have bfast included. Worth every penny

It doesn't really feel comfortable. It's really empty and cold and the beds are a bit uncomfortable. The breakfast is not very good and I stayed in other hostels in the same area much cheaper or at the same price but with better facilities and breakfast

- To all female travelers: They have a camera installed in the female dorm, be careful!!! Besides that, the whole vibe at the hostel was really off and strange. The male receptionist that checked me in during night time was weird and borderline creepy. He was laughing after each sentence, no matter how serious the conversation was. His whole demeanor was weird and I wouldn’t be surprised if he was watching the camera footage downstairs! Another girl that was staying in my room named Noa noticed the camera AFTER she was done changing her clothes and exposing herself. After leaving a detailed review here, the owner messaged her privately to insult her. When I asked the owner about the cameras, she said it’s for “security” and to “prevent theft”. If that’s the case, what’s the purpose of the lockers and the keys provided? Doesn’t this imply that lockers are not functioning properly? We were placed on 5th floor which felt like a staff dorm or room in the making, and looked NOTHING like the photos in Booking.com. An actual part of the AC literally fell down and got detached from the AC unit in front of our eyes and the receptionist did nothing but laugh weirdly about it. Creepy.

The guys on reception were friendly and tried to help when I contacted them. I have no questions about them, they are great, 10 stars. I was allowed to put food in the refrigerator. Thanks for that. THE DESCRIPTION ON BOOKING DOES NOT CORRESPOND TO REALITY. This was the worst place I stayed in Vietnam. I travel by bicycle and often stay overnight in hotels. From Nha Trang to Hanoi, I have never encountered more rude and unfriendly staff than the woman at reception. I will explain all the issues: 1) When I was looking for a hostel, I was guided by several criteria, some of the most important were the presence of natural light in the room and bicycle parking. In the gallery here on booking, you can see that the beds next to each other have a window and a view, meaning they let in natural light. This is what attracted me. Also, the bright colors of the beds seemed cheerful and upbeat. So, even though the price of similar hostels in Hanoi is half that, I chose this one. Also, the description stated that there was parking available. Also, on booking, only the mixed dorm option was available. There was no mention of the option to choose a female dorm. 2) I arrived after 2 pm (and quite tired after cycling), so there were no problems with check-in. There was a woman at the reception who immediately offered me a room for women for an extra 50k. I declined because I'd never had any problems with neighbors before. But it was really strange, why this option was not available on the app. 3) When I walked into the room, there was nothing like the photo. The room was very dark. The only window was in the shower hallway, and it clearly wasn't enough light to illuminate the entire room. And there were no colorful bed frames, everything was dark brown with gray curtains. Be noted, that they have a camera inside the room. 4) Then, I had an unpleasant situation with an Indian man whose bed was right next to mine. The next day, I decided to move to the women's room after all. I went to the reception and told the story. The guy was on duty.
