Wonderful family-owned property. Pattra and her son Jet were so friendly and responsive.

Host was amazingly nice. Amazing attention to details. Rooms were very comfortable. Diner on site was fabulous, same with breakfast. Nothing. Access to Harlech is hard, Very narrow and steep road. PArking can be tricky,

Parking was a little tight on a steep hill.

Exceptionally clean, Pattra was really friendly and so helpful, food was great ?

What a place! My wife and I were arriving a little later than the usual check-in time and Pattra and Darryl were very accommodating. Pattra even made us one of the best curries we’ve ever had. She warned us it might be a bit spicy, but also brought out some chillies to let us (well me) spice it up even more - two small spoon fulls! Darryl showed us to our room and later chatted with us in the bar while we waited for our supper. Room was well appointed and we appreciated the water, tea/coffee and treats. The decode was fantastic. With a heat wave rolling through Wales, our room was a bit warm, but that would be the only complaint - and they couldn’t fix that! Great people + great place + great location to explore Harlech = what more could one ask for?!?! Would highly recommend!

Food and lodging were wonderful and the owners very accommodating and caring. We’d recommend this place. Not a dislike especially, but a few tiny details like a hair dryer and wash cloths would be nice. There were many other thoughtful details. Note- room ceilings were very low. Might be helpful to note that for taller folks. Also there are only 2 taxi services in the area and neither one was available when we arrived on a delayed train. Please suggest that folks make transport/pick up arrangements in advance if they don’t have a car. It is a small town and this is somewhat common. However this area is extremely steep. With advance planning, one of the owners drove us to the train station on our departure.

Room was comfortable, clean and a lovely smell. The complimentary snacks, drinks etc in the room were very generous. Lovely, friendly atmosphere.

Beautiful property located just outside of the Castle Harlech stone walls. Gorgeous views of the Irish Sea and the mountains of Snowdonia and easy access to the village shops. The host, Pattra, is so very accommodating and the food served was fantastic. Loved everything!

Excellent location, next to the castle in Harlech. The room is spacious and very clean. Pattra, the owner, has thought of every detail that can make your stay at the hotel pleasant. The breakfast is very good and if you want, you can also order an excellent dinner at the hotel restaurant. Pattra is charming, answers every question politely and helps in everything she can. The staff is welcoming and the atmosphere is warm and pleasant. We would wholeheartedly recommend Castle Cottage Inn.

The comfort of the room, cleanliness, the attention to detail, the customer care (outstanding!), quality and quantity of the food. Everything about the hotel was a delight, felt we'd been staying there for the past twenty years, such was the friendliness and accommodating our needs (my wife has dietary issues with allergies). Just can't praise the hotel and staff highly enough! Nothing springs to mind.

Our host Pattra made us feel very welcome immediately and throughout our stay. Our room was very nice, comfortable and clean. The breakfast was amazing Parking is a little tricky due to the narrowness and steepness of surrounding streets
