the location was great. rooms were a good size. beds comfy. a good variety for beeakfast we were unable to get a nice coffee in the evening as machine broken. the restaurant machine was taken away at 530. surely this could have been utilised until machine was repaired.

Location was excellent. Great choice of food at breakfast. Room was extremely spacious Bed was very uncomfortable and we both ended up with sore backs. It was advertised as having parking but this is only available to people paying an extra premium and there are only about 20 spaces. The bathroom had evidence of rot around the bath which did not look great

staff at breakfast very few staff. receptionist was stressed and had to manage all the people booking in and all their problems on her own. the room was very tired and unloved management were invisible.

Ideally located to walk around the town and to local restaurants and bars.clearly once an architecturally impressive building. Lack of car parking and no way to book via this site that I could see. Dated and tatty decor with stained carpets and curtains. Basic room amenities. Poorly located electrical outlets. No USBs. Shower gel dispensers faulty and had to remove the pumps to free pour. Uneven and creaky floorboards to the point where the room above me woke me throughout the night with their constant toilet trips. Their floor banged on my room. The whole place needs major investment. The breakfast was reasonable value for money at £12.50. We had 3 rooms booked and each found similar issues.

Excellent service, Dog Friendly, the rooms were very spacious and the hotel is in a great location for everything we needed. It was our first trip away with our dog and they couldn't have been more accommodating, even with breakfast we were given seats in the cafe so we could all have a dog friendly breakfast We reserved parking on site which was really easy. Its hard to find a negative, we enjoyed our stay

Breakfast was nice and staff were pleasant and helpful. Very convenient location. It may be where the room is positioned but it was very warm inside and we had to ask for additional fans given the time of year (which tbf they were quick to resolve). The room interiors perhaps could use a refresh and there were some dust issues.

The location is stop on. The filthy window, paper hanging off the ceiling, mould on bath and dip in the flooring.

Great central location. Very good breakfast. The room we were originally given was very old and had lots of mould on the wall outside of the bathroom in the hallway. I called to tell them and they gave us another room which was much better.
