Location and the breakfast was very good. Bath and only shower over the bath.I'd expect better finish in the rooms as I booked a Deluxe room.The decor was a bit gloomy and carpet on the stairs to the breakfast dining room looks very dirty.Big issue with the £15 a night parking fees.

Location Depressing room. Grey Grey. No waters. No phone to call reception. I had to ring the hotel reception from my mobile to ask for water. Pickled sprout restaurant very poor. I left my starter cheese soufflé like paste certainly not fresh, scamp awful. Husbands steak asked for medium rare came well done. My husband left his phone charger plugged in. 1 hour later I rang to say he’d left it in the room. It was not there.

The location is perfect. The decor in the hotel was beautiful. We were upgraded which was a lovely surprise upon check in. The bed was sooooo big and comfy! The room itself needed a little TLC. There was a huge crack in the ceiling and just a little dated. Shower lacked pressure..

The quality of the room was fabulous and the location is outstanding. The only minor issue was parking. It does state first come first served so we knew prior this may throw up a problem. However parking was available close by so it wasn't a real issue as such.
