Clean accommodation, friendly staff, great value

The room was lovely, the breakfast was delicious & the service was excellent. We loved the Fat Badger, food great & drinks excellent and not too pricey. The location of the hotel was perfect for us.

Great location Had to change rooms as ours was extremely dark and walls scuffed and dirty, bathroom tiny and I had paid for a decent room as it was my husbands 50th while we were there, room we were given much better although they wanted me to pay extra! They did give me the room at same cost in the end! Breakfast is not adequate facilities for the amount of residents there, tiny hot plate so kept having to wait for fresh food coming out! Only offered one hot drink and no facilities to make own at breakfast! Needs to be better for the price point!

The room was clean and comfortable. It was in a great location. The noise from the pub downstairs was intrusive. We were on the 1st floor and it was very loud.

The location with parking was really good. The breakfasts were really nice with good quality sausage, bacon, mushrooms, black pudding etc. The bread was lovely. The resteraunt fat badger was lovely with friendly staff. The bathroom was ok, but lighting could be improved. We didn't like our room at all.!! We paid extra money for a feature room which looked lovely on the website, but when we arrived it was nothing like what we thought we were getting all the walls, skirting boards and ceiling had been painted in a very dark grey paint which made the room very dark. It was not tasteful at all. We had to have the lights on all the time when we were in the room as it was so dark. The furniture was not fit for purpose especially the wardrobe as every time you tried to open the wardrobe door it was sticking causing the feature cases on the top to wobble and nearly fall on you. The wardrobe was not deep enough to hang your clothes sideways and there was only 3 coat hangers for two people. The skirting boards and bathroom door paint was chipped. The window was in need of repair, paint loose and rotten wood. The TV kept losing signal on some channels even after we reported it to reception when we first arrived. All in all the room let us down. We asked to be moved after the first night, but they couldn't tell us where we would be moving to until later in the day and we felt unsupported. We just stayed where we were and put up with the room we had, as we didn't want our holiday break to be ruined by moving to another room without seeing it . We wanted to write this review to booking com as what you are showing us on your website is not corresponding to what we got. Just wanted holiday makers and others to know about our experience in the Feature room at the White Hart Hotel.

Great location Having to get your parking ticket validated each day at reception. Car park spaces are very small and spaces are limited. Breakfast choices limited. Miserable reception staff member.

Everything was 10 out of 10. The hotel is so pretty with a magnificent display of flowers everywhere. It gets better every year. All the staff are friendly and helpful. Our comfortable room was on the first floor overlooking the lovely Montpellier area. The Fat Badger Pub is an integral part of the hotel and provides first class food and drink. They have a very fast order to your table via a web link. This includes room service with no additional tray charge. The hotel is wonderfully located for all the central Harrogate attractions and restaurants. We stay here every time we visit. Nothing

Good location, good food and a nice bar to sit and enjoy drinks. Room location above the bar. Very noisy until after closing time. Room strange layout and with a circus theme.

Beautiful building, great central location, ease of parking (although additional cost) Very little! The only downside was no readily available vegetarian options at breakfast. Self service meant that the serving cutlery was used to serve all food and this is a negative for vegetarian/vegans.

I stay here often with work. It is always a warm welcome. Nice, clean and tidy, well maintained rooms. Obviously this is why I return again and again. On this one occasion (I stay here a lot). Room 318, the bathroom needs a little TLC (shower fitting/water pressure). But it still all worked.
