Pet friendly, very friendly staffs

The room was very modern and well appointed. Sometimes the design of the amenities was more important than their function. But after using them, they all were impressive. Very comfortable bed. Housekeeping was very efficient.

Clean quiet room with good amenities. Spacious bathroom. Very accommodating staff. It was a really relaxing stay.

The property has everything one could want. The gym is great. The pool was nice. A heated spa would have been the icing on the cake, but there was a spa in the pool area.

Chef Charlie Palmer and Chef Reed provided us with an exceptional tasting menu. Sommelier Tess’s wine pairing and list were nothing short of remarkable. GM Brian’s hospitality was truly exceptional. Our waiter Dominic was a true professional. There are many other members of the team who deserve our thanks as well.

We loved our patio off the room, spent a lot of time there.

Clean resort! Well maintained. Only complain would be that the hot tubs were not hot. They were same temperature as the pools.

The only reason I didn’t give 4starts was we had to wait almost 3 hours to get into our room, and I was traveling with my 87 yr old mom and she was very tired after a long travel day. I guess they were short staffed that weekend. But other than that I would def go back, it’s peaceful yet close enough to downtown healdsburg. Great restaurant and rooftop bar. Great get away

The overall facility was woefully understaffed. The host went missing multiple times when entering, 3 phone calls (to front desk, room service and housekeeping) all rang with no answer, a missing bartender at the main restaurant delayed drinks, cleanliness of outdoor areas was lacking around firepits and pool areas with dirty dishes left overnight, having to move stacks of dirty dishes ourselves to sit down at the Beeline restaurant, a cold "hot tub" they admitted has been broken for awhile, and staff that would appear and then ghost fairly often. When we did connect with staff, they were genuine and helpful within the limits they had. The hotel room quality was also a disappointment. Fixtures and finishes were nice at first glance. However the walls were thin so you constantly heard neighbors and children, shower pressure and temperature fluctuated constantly, shower doors were installed incorrectly so water leaked onto floor, and we couldn't use the patio due to traffic noise from the nearby road and constant kid noise. The best run area was the main restaurant - good service, food, drink and ambience.

Went in with excitement to experience Travel & Leisures Best Luxury Resort in CA. From check-in to check-out the experience was 3 star or just OK. As a Marriott Ambassador Elite, I have low expectations for hotel and resort stays so this one was a real opportunity to WOW. Upon arrival the room was not ready (3:30p) which is because check-in was 4p (understandable). At 4p room not ready. After checking with the desk three more times, received keys well after 4:30p. Resort did comp drinks while waiting. Dinner and breakfast were ok. Certainly not French Laundry quality or best in the valley. Housekeeping came to clean the room at 6p which seemed late as we were getting ready for dinner. All in all, nice people, lovely property, and good room amenities. Failed Luxury Hotel experience execution for the price. Will not return or recommend to others.
