Residence Inn by Marriott Helena

This time we were not advised until after we booked a non refundable room that the pool and jacuzzi were unavailable. It looks like they are completely und ready renovation so it’s not a one off. It would be nice if that was listed before you make a non refundable reservation.

Room was clean but no hand soap was left in the room and the body soap dispenser in the shower was empty so I had to use shampoo to wash my hands

The facility provides daily breakfast and there is a small kitchen in the unit. It helps us because one of our guests did not like to eat out. The room is comfortable and clean and has enough space for everyone to enjoy!

Everything was super good, only other downfall was a high fee for having a dog in the room even when we were only in the room from 6pm - 9:30 am. But thats what happens when you travel with pets.

The room was spacious. The staff was friendly. I booked through here and then two days before going found out they were starting renovations so the pool was closed. Only reason I booked here. Then in the morning you could hear all the work being done. That’s okay I understood.

Really nice clean property, pet friendly and the staff was great. Highly recommend.

Our stay was very short, but very comfortable. They let us know ahead the pool was closed and some construction going on, but we did not see or hear evidence of that on first floor. It was a nice surprise to be placed on first floor and near an exit. Breakfast was good, as expected. We’d definitely stay again.

We have stayed at this facility 5 times in the last 4 years. Always clean and well maintained. The staff is very kind and helpful. Breakfast is good and the location is easy to access and near amenities but removed enough to be quiet and away from traffic.

Our one bedroom suite was well laid out and plenty big enough, but the couch was in terrible shape and the carpet was not well vacuumed. The room was in need of some updating. The first thing we do, after we check in, is a thorough search of the floor to look for things our Lab could possibly find and ingest. We found lots of things that were missed by the vacuum, though nothing of concern, such as dropped meds. No complaints about the staff. They were very friendly and quickly accommodated our request for a unit on the ground floor close to an outside door. The pet area is well laid out and kept clean. This hotel is going through a renovation so maybe we just got a room that hadn't been renovated yet, so as to accommodate our room location request.

It was close to the nursing facility False marketing. Pictures of pool etc on page 1 of listing. Doesn’t say pool is not operating or being renovated. Drove 6 hours promising 3 small children a pool to play in to find out at the reception desk that is wasn’t in operation. Asked to cancel booking. Desk agent said no. Would charge me full price no matter what. Went to room to put tired children to bed at 8pm ish just to find that the linens on both the pull out couch/bed (covered in popcorn and other stuff) and king bed ( dirt on sheets and pillows case) were not cleaned prior to us arriving. Went to desk to get help. Lees than helpful desk agent said we would have to wait until your van driver returned from wherever he was to change the sheets. Asked for a discount again your desk agent said no

Breakfast was good. Room accommodations were not as booked and no adjustments made. Luckily one on my family members didn’t travel with us so having one less bad than we were supposed to have wasn’t a major problem. Booked a bedroom suite with two queens and a pull out couch. Received a studio suite with a king bed and pull out couch. No power in the room when entering at check in….power breaker was off in the room. Fixed that and mentioned to front desk and they said they would note it. Waited an hour for extra pillows to be delivered to the room for the pull out couch. Overall I will not recommend as the hotel wasn’t full at all, no adjustments or credits made to lessen the false accommodations.
