Arminda Hotel & Spa

We really enjoyed our stay at the Arminda hotel, staff, facilities, drinks were excellent!

The all-inclusive restaurant had a variety of options, and they even had a kids corner! They were able to provide milk for our baby as well. The playground, although small, was a solid favorite for our son who played there every day. The hotel had its own beach access, which was nice. The staff was all very friendly, especially the coffee/bar staff and the cleaning ladies. They were also able to provide some detergent for me to clean the baby's bottle. The reception staff also helped us arrange for a car rental - online, most places seemed to have a 6-day minimum rental period, but whoever the staff found was okay with us only renting for 3-4 days. They even brought the car to the hotel, and we were able to drop it off at the ferry port on our way out! Overall, I would say this hotel met my expectations regarding being family-friendly and being well prepared for children of various ages. There was also a small on-site store where you could buy diapers and some toys. The rooms were comfortable and they were able to provide a crib for our son. The various pools were all unheated and had some seawater, so while our kid playing in some of them, we thought he would enjoy it more... it would have been nice for at least a few of the baby pools to be heated. Even after a full, hot summer day, the water was still a bit too cold to be comfortable. Good coffee (either Greek coffee or espresso-based) was only available starting at 10 AM. The coffee machines in the restaurant produced a black substance that only die-hard caffeine addicts were willing to ingest. The laundry service was not ideal - they sent the clothes to an external third party, and because it was over the weekend, it took us 3-4 days to get our clothes back, and we had to pay cash. There were a lot of stairs all over the property, and the one elevator was very slow. The door to the bathroom was milk glass, so the light came through, and in our particular room the closing mechanism seemed broken because it was very loud when locking / opening, which was not ideal for sharing a room with a child.

The bed wasn't so good, too soft. And the pillows were to high. Beside that, everything was perfect!

Location and value was excellent. The food had variety and was tasty as well as healthy options included. Good entertainment staff as well as excellent options for the kids of pools and slides. Overall fantastic. Staff can smile a bit more, at times seemed overwhelmed or even tired of questions and guest interactions. PlayStation should be available all throughout the day. Water slides should not be closed around lunch, this is peak hours for kids to play and also when a family wakes up a bit later, they should have that option to enjoy the start slides. Also all the all inclusive drinks must be made a bit stronger, tasted like juice at times and not an alcoholic beverage.

Everything was above expectations. Really! The food, the employees, the cleanliness, the facilities, the entertainment program and kids activities. We really enjoyed! Nothing to comment here. We enjoyed our stay!

I would have liked that the water park to be larger.

- The facility was very modern, clean, and well-maintained. - The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, and we really appreciated the complimentary room upgrade we received upon arrival. - Although the hotel is not located directly on the beach, there is convenient beach access provided through a third-party company. There was really nothing I didn’t like about the stay, but I do wish there was a town within walking distance for a bit more variety and convenience.

Very clean and spacious. The food was good quality with great variety. All staff was very helpful and pleasant. The whole family had a great time. Their Greek kafeneio was spot on with amazing coffee and raki. Kipoulis kids club was the highlight of our kids day and the activities varied every day ,they just loved it! Would definitely visit again.

The hotel is so beautiful! The room very well decorated. The pools were grate! The kids had so much fun. The meals were tasty and the snack bars were the best. The kids club was very cool. The whole place is full of trees, plants, flowers ect. Really had good time :) There wasn't a variety of food for vegetarians and people who eats Kosher.

Very friendly staff, good variation in buffets with theme nights, spacious rooms Adult guests with no manners & education at all !!! Children running around in the restaurant, bumping into you, screaming,… as if it were a playground ? People talking loud & screaming late at night, waking up the guests that are sleeping

Family room with a pool view was great! Hotel area is very nice. Food was some days a bit boring. None of the pools were warmed, so they were quite chilly. Hotel doesn't have it's own beach and beach area is full of next hotel's sunbeds.
