One of the best hotels I have ever been so calm peaceful high privacy and very comfortable rooms friendly staff I'm really happy.actually I can't forget about that experience. Very peaceful it was like the most peaceful and relaxing days I ever had.superd The only problem was the TVs aren't working and the ACs in upper floor aren't properly working but actually that's okay because all the lower floor rooms had properly working ACs so next time repair those and that's all. One of the best hotels to stay and spend the vacation

Furnishings were tired, old and uncomfortable, and the room was less attractive than the photos indicate. This could be a good hotel for backpackers travelling on a shoestring, but not for us.

The hotel is set in very large well kept gardens a 2 minute walk to the beach/ restaurants/ shops. The large rooms and pool are at the in a quiet area at the back of the property/ gardens. The large deluxe double rooms with large balconies overlooking the pool and gardens are either ground or first floor. They are well equipped with good AC, fan, fridge, safe, clothes dryer, kettle, crockery, cutlery, glasses and even an iron and ironing board. The owner and staff are all very friendly and helpful with a special mention to Asanka. Breakfast is good with fresh fruit, fruit juice, eggs how you want them, sausages and tea/coffee. A local family of mongoose can often be seen crossing the gardens in the morning or evening. Nothing. The railway track is nearby but the trains are pretty infrequent. I have stayed at other beach/ main road hotels in Hikkaduwa and the constant rumble of lorries and buses can be far more of a problem at those hotels. Blue Fox is a two minute walk to the main road and generally very peaceful.

Everything:) Even the trains hence our son obsessed with them ? but make sure you bring earplugs! Staff is extra cute, food is enough and unlimited, pools are great (they have a small one for toddlers too) and we could experience wildlife there too: monkeys jumping around, colorful birds etc. Lovely place and extra close to the beach but still not noisy by the main road. Extra: check out avoha next door they make absolutely fab meals! Nothing to mention. We had our cot, fridge fixed almost immediately and even brought us a bday cake for my mom in law so really nothing to complain about!

The room was fabulous with great facilities a lovely hotel with lovely pool area and very nice and friendly staff especially Asanka who made our stay really comfortable Nothing

Rooms and Terrasse / Balcony were spacious and nice. Staff was friendly and Breakfast was good On arrival, staff were nowhere to be seen, and it took some time to get the rooms. We got no information at arrival i.e. restaurant hours for breakfast or wifi password. The pool was not clean, but had green algie at the bottom, and it was not cleaned the whole week we were there.
