Hotel Carolina

The check in is online, there is no front desk and no one at the hotel. I never received a code to get into my room and after trying to inquire why using the help line, which took over a half hour, I was told I hadn’t paid the security deposit, which was never clearly stated when I purchased the rental. I asked for a refund as I was not going to stay at the hotel at this point and was told they didn’t handle refunds. A very frustrating experience which is still ongoing.

Only thing that is kinda strange is that they require a $150 accident damage fee deposit and it is after you book the room. Totally unexpected when they called and honestly thought it was a scam till we arrived at the hotel. They need to just do it to the card on file if there is a problem after the fact not before hand. Also it being contact-less was extremely strange and little confusing to begin with. But great hotel and we plan on staying here on our next trip there! 5/5 stars

Reasonable place for a short stay

This is my second time here, and I really enjoyed it. The room is clean and has everything you need for your stay. There are plenty of parking spaces on the premises, and it's a 9-minute drive to the beach. I'll come back here again

It was a quick trip but we had a great time. The pool was clean and refreshing. Loved not having to keep up with a room key, the coded door lock was awesome. Our room by the pool was clean and easy to get to from the parking area. Thank you for everything!

The room was clean and nice. We got a 2 queen suite and it was so spacious. Parking was easy. Check in and out was smooth. It’s close to a lot of amenities.

There was ample parking near the rooms and the suite was spacious. There are plenty of outlets for chargers and whatnot. Unfortunately there is no service desk, as the lobby is under construction. We stay for 4 days in a suite for 6 and not once did they mop our room. The floor was dirty when we got in. My 1 year old son’s feet were black with dirt 20 minutes after settling in. The second to last day, housekeeping had left our door OPEN! They also did not leave any extra towels with us when asked. There were only enough towels for 3 of us. They advertised a grill to be in the pool area, so we brought food for grilling… well there was certainly no grill and I wasted space in my cooler. The ice machine is usually unplugged and it costs $6 for a load of laundry. The trashcans in the room held maybe 3 diapers and there were only 2 of them, so bring your own big garbage bags. They also don’t sign out your accounts on the roku tvs if you choose to use them. The drawers were removed from most of the furniture, including the kitchenette and the dresser. The microwave took forever to heat up, the plate doesn’t spin and it burned food. The coffee pot has a dinky little amount of coffee in one packet and don’t give any more cups through your stay either. The staff in general are unhelpful and unfriendly. The house keepers kept pestering us to leave so they could be in the room just to not clean a single thing. Luckily I speak a bit of Spanish, as they have little to no English.

Walking distance to a very nice minature golf area with two 18 hole courses, Very close .

Todo estuvo estupendo,solo una cosa que deberían mejorar,la ventana de la recamara necesita más oscuridad del personal no tuve contacto con ninguno, porque todo fue por linea,pero si fue una buena experiencia a mi familia le gustó todo.

The room was very clean and the smart tv was nice! There is no front desk so it’s a little difficult to contact anyone if there’s issues. The room also had a hard time with the humidity and the floors were slippery and wet in the daytime.

Staff was very helpful room was clean

The first room I was assigned literally had black mold and a leaking mirror and sink. The second the shower wouldn’t drain, I even went and bought drano to try to make it better. Never again.
