Hotel Carolina

Location is dated in process of being updated motel. Rooms clean, hardly saw staff while there. Cheap for hHi in pinch for nights stay but would it take multiple days

The cashier lady was very kind and helpful. The TV wasn't working, and she went to the room and fixed it. The room was very clean. The smoke detector was detached from the wall. The pool floor looked dirty or stained.

Adequate room. Pool was nice; but water was freezing cold.

Nice hotel near Shelter Cove and Palmetto Dunes. Clean and comfortable. Check in is contact less and there was a awkward tech issue, but everything else made up for it. Clean pool area. Walking distance to Hilton Head Diner, Shelter Cove and a big Mini golf area if you have kids or like to mini golf. Good price for the location.

This hotel is not what is pictured. We came into town to a hotel that needs to be torn down. Unfortunately, because we thought the pictures online looked nice but could not get a refund for the reservation as they would not refund due to it being check-in day. We did not even walk into the room, as the property was less than desirable. It is a shame and a waste of hard earned money.

Had an awesome stay! The room was clean and the bed was nice and comfy. You could tell the sheets were softer than average hotel sheets. The pool was clean and they had towels by the pool. Loved the contactless check in, made it quick and easy especially since we got there late.

This is a good value for someone looking for value. Check-in was via text, with a code sent for your room, which worked fine. I could not stay here with my wife for various reasons - some noise from above tenants, light coming through the not-blackout shades (and lights on outside all night), the inability to control the bedroom A/C (the other unit was fine, but the bedroom one seemed unresponsive). If you're looking for value and don't need fancy, it's a good place to stay. Convenient location, easy parking and access, very responsive staff via text and email. Everything you need for a good basic stay.

The room was clean. The parking area was easy to park. The staff and shops were close by. I enjoyed my stay.

ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING!!!! We stay here every time we come to HHI! Location is absolutely perfect! Rooms is super clean and very comfortable! The pool is very clean and nice!! THE STAFF IS PHENOMENAL!!! Suzanne, the General manager is AMAZING!!!!! She always makes it feel like home!! Will continue to always stay here when we come! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

The concept is really cool, I am an avid traveler and this was a great value. It is not that I didn’t like it, just needs improvement. Mattress topper for the extremely thin pull out couch mattress. Maybe a few more towels to start with.

The contactless check-in was new for me. I thought this was convenient, however, I would advise to make sure the form of payment is accurate before your stay. Suzanne was helpful when I has an issue with a scenario like that.

Location suited my need. Run down facility, did not know it was contactless, no one to help.

The staff is contactless but they immediately responded to any text I had at nearly any hour of the day! Suzanne specifically seemed to go above and beyond. The wife and I will 100% be back.
