The Mai House Saigon is a first-class hotel. Everything from start to finish was perfect. The room was comfortable and the staff could not have been more accommodating. We signed up for the VIP package which gave us access to the VIP Lounge. This was worth every penny. We had a first rate complimentary happy hour (two hours) nightly complete with very creative appetizers. The servers in this lounge made you feel like you were at home. Can't compliment Don enough. We didn't use the pool but it was lovely. Excellent location on a relative quiet street, but convenient to local sights. Excellent breakfast buffet. I can't say anything negative!

Prices jumped from 280 to almost 500 for the lower room after one day

Amazing hotel...its the one you will keep coming back to once you experience it.

The location is great, a bit far from the city centre but It is walkable. There are supermarket around the corner and a great Pho restaurant near by. The rooms was great, very modern and quiet. Could not think of one now.

It was a very luxurious hotel with great facilities. There was plenty on offer at breakfast and it was so delicious. The pool area was also fantastic with great service too. It is a perfect location if you are in Ho Chi Minh for a few days. This is only minor, but after a day of travelling, we had booked two rooms for our family of five - which was communicated and clear upon check in, however, upon arrival, it was only set up for four people and initially had run out of trundle beds, but managed to source one to put in the kids room. They were apologetic though and sorted it out quickly for us.

The staff were friendly most of the time and very respectful. The in-room service was fast and responsive. We stayed here on three separate occasions. Overall, the staff were friendly and respectful, and the in-room service was fast and responsive. However, we were not a big fan of the room layout. The design features an open living space without a door separating the bedroom and bathroom areas. In the apartment units, you can at least use a curtain for privacy, but in the suites, everything is completely open. Personally, I prefer having a door to close off the bathroom. The swimming pool was also quite small and not very kid-friendly. I took my 2-year-old for a short swim around noon, and while we were simply playing and enjoying the water, a staff member asked us to keep the noise down for other guests. Since it is a shared pool with a small section for kids and open to all guests, this left a bit of a negative impression. That said, when my son had a small fall, a staff member quickly checked on us and followed through, which I truly appreciated—they seem well trained in guest care. As a family traveling with a young child, I would likely choose another 5-star hotel that is more kid-friendly and offers a more functional room layout. The people who cleaned our room stole two combination locks, the sodas were not restocked, there was unvacuumed places on the carpet and the television hardly worked

The service, breakfast, in-room bathtub, and the rooftop bar was great. I wish the gym had more up to date machines and heavier dumbbells.

location and cleanliness On the first day, we had to shower with cold water because the shower faucet was broken. We provided feedback in the morning, and when we returned to the hotel in the evening, we were informed that there was no problem and that hot water was available. However, the water was cold again. When we provided feedback again, they acted as if the first complaint hadn't been filed... They said they would look into it again. Subsequently, it was repaired. But entire day in a hotel oke of the main requirement was mulfanctuioning.

We loved or stay and everyone was so nice. It was very opulent with stunning artwork and decor. Food in the breakfast area was excellent with a huge variety of options. We have loved our stay for the full week! There is not enough space to hang more than one towel, so they kept replacing them each time instead of just leaving them. One more hook for hanging towels would save the hotel replacing them each time.

I’ve travelled all over the world and this hotel was by far the NICEST I’ve ever been to. Right from our communication advising them our flight may be delayed, to the front desk staff. The breakfast was amazing as well! Absolutely nothing

A bit pricey ?

I love everything about this property from the cleanliness, hospitality of the staff, food, restaurants, and rooftop. The Spa is also wonderful! The rooms are exceptional and I will return every time I’m in Ho Chi Minh City. This was my 2nd stay with Mai House Saigon and I am still very pleased! N/A

Beautiful hotel in quieter area of Saigon compared to our first hotel, Myst Dong (which we actually preferred this hotel because it had a lot of character and was a bit more eclectic..but Mai House was a really beautiful, sleek property and we loved it and think for travelers who are used to more of a Western hotel feel, it is a great choice. The hamburger ;-) at the rooftop bar.
