Clean and comfortable room reachable with elevator, hotel right in the downtown. I was there to catch the bus to Phnom Penh the following day and the accommodation is nearby the Giant Ibis’ meeting spot.

1) Read online reviews that room was hot, thus, went downstairs to ask for a portable fan when my room was still warm after a few hours outside The staff readily came and help me to switch to "auto-fan" mode and the room immediately cool as their manual fan mode has only "1-bar" which isn't enough... 2) The staff saw me facing issues with my door via their security camera and quickly came to guide me. Excellent service 3) Room was modest (as expect of a hostel) but very clean and all the basic amenities provided, towels, toothbrush and toothpaste sets, comb, cotton pad sticks, shampoo & shower lotions packs, etc were provided in seal packets (like the hotels) Nothing

Location was good The attitude of the young chap, think he’s the son of the owner, was poor, unfriendly- everything too much effort!!!! only 1 water provided on arrival, & no more, no tea/coffee or mugs in room, but a kettle??? Shower facility very odd, smack in the middle of the WC & sink, so everything gets wet when u shower, had to ask for an extra towel to wipe the floor etc. had to take shoes off every time you entered the building

The service level at Louis Hotel was brilliant. The staff always greeted you with a smile and were very helpful with any issues I had, which were needing laundry done and the air conditioning not working in my room. I went out on an excursion and returned to the hotel with both my laundry washed and the air con fixed. The location of the hotel is also great, only a minute or two and you’re on the walking street. Close enough that you do hear the music during late hours, but the music isn’t loud enough to cause a real disturbance. The WiFi worked well enough to let me sync 90 videos from my GoPro onto the cloud overnight, which means it must be decent! The bathroom is a shower room, so whenever you shower, everything gets wet. Although, I just timed my showers so that I wouldn’t need to use the room again until many hours after so everything had time to dry.
