The people: Willow's Mom and Kate were amazing. Among other things knowing their travelers would be hard pressed to find a restaurant open Tet eve, they offered a lovely family dinner to an overflowing room of people. The bed was very comfortable and I slept well. The A/C was very welcome in the heat. Loved the artwork on the stairwell and the lovely common area on the roof. There could have been a bit more light available within the bed cubby.

hostel is quiet, so sleeping was not a problem. The location is also decent in terms of being fairly central. The staff was friendly, and I had no issues with them. Overall, this hostel is in serious need of a full renovation. The dorms, bathrooms, and common areas are all very run-down. Walls, floors, and installations are visibly worn, and cleanliness is a major issue. The hallways are dirty, and there was trash under nearly every bed, which strongly suggests that rooms are not cleaned properly. The bathrooms are dingy and moldy. Also, some aspects are borderline absurd. They charge extra for rooms “with a balcony,” but the balcony is extremely narrow (around 40 cm wide) and faces a wall less than half a meter away. As a result, the room is dark, and the balcony itself is essentially unusable — it mainly serves as a place to store trash and dry floor mats. In its current state, this is probably the worst building I’ve seen from the inside in all of Vietnam. With proper care and renovation, it could be much better, but as it stands, I would not return.

The hostels location is super central to Ho Chi Minh city. It is a 10 minute walk away from the main walking street with a buzzing nightlife. I travelled alone but the other guests there were super friendly. On my 3rd day there, I met some people (friends now) and we all went to the walking street nearby and grabbed some drinks. We came back and hung out at the rooftop until 3AM playing chess and chatting. The hostel has a super cute and introverted dog called willow. She is super friendly but she doesn't show it much. Approach her and you will instantly fall in love! The rooms were clean (bathroom cleaned 3 times a day) and smelled nice, the hotel staff and Willow's Mum were all very friendly and are always down for a chat

Every afternoon they have free one beer so you can grab one and go to rooftop .for awareness this place doesn’t have elevator I was lucky that i didn’t bring many stuff with me . During my stay suddenly the water from our toilet room didn’t work so we have to use another toilet that they provided. but it’s all good as the other day they fixed the water to our room

Hostel organises dinners out for the group. Rooftop terrace is nice addition. There was only 1 toilet and 1 shower for the whole floor (4 rooms) and it was in an inconvenient place. The floor was quite dirty and didn’t get properly cleaned (I was in the room when the cleaning lady came to clean). Staff could be nicer at some times.

Possibly the best the hostel I have ever stayed in ! The whole experience was perfect from beginning to end. When I arrived the staff member let me borrow money for a grab as I didn't have any cash on me yet ~ which was an absolute life saver ! The overall facilities were spacious, clean, safe with lockers in each room and private with curtains on each bunk. The bunks also had a ledge for personal items and a plug which was very convenient. The outdoor area and rooftop was suburb, and the one free beer every night. They also have the most adorable dog Willow :) The best part of this hostel is the owner who is the kindest soul and made my time in HCMC so special ! Nothing at all !

The bathroom was not really clean. Didn’t like that the toilet was next to the shower. The beds were good, locker didn’t lock. Nice staff. Saw a few cockroaches.

Family dinner was super fun, and staff were very sweet. Beds were fine, bathroom less fine but not a huge issue. Social aspect was really nice.

Very few bathrooms and showers. Didn’t offer breakfast either, quite pricey compared to other similar places.
