River Park Homestay and Hostel

This was an absolutely wonderful place to stay in Hoi An. The location is in walking distance of the beach and is a quieter part of Hoi A than the hustle and bustle of the Ancient Town, which I preferred. The owners were incredibly friendly and helpful despite the language barriers and treated me as if I was a member of their family. I highly recommend this homestay for anybody planning to visit Hoi An. For anybody that plans to stay here, note that the location in Google Maps is incorrect and is a couple blocks off. The owners are trying to fix it, but Google is being problematic. If you are using Booking.com, Agoda, or Grab, use the location in the app itself or use the following address that the owners gave me: “TRƯƠNG SA TÂN THỊNH CẨM AN HỘI AN QN. ĐN”. I’ve also attached a photo of Google Maps showing the actual location compared to where Google Maps claims it is.

The breakfast was really good, the beaches are walking distance. Property is clean and the caretaker is very friendly and helpful. They don’t give toiletries other than a tissue paper, need to bring ones own shampoo, toothpaste and toothbrush!

Super close to the beach, delicious free breakfast and coffee every morning, staff was helpful and booked me a super affordable bus ticket and let me stay after check in while I waited for the evening bus. Bed was comfy. Place was very clean and guests were quiet and considerate. Dorm room only has 6 beds. They didn’t have any bicycles for rent, but that’s just a minor inconvenience! Free filtered water would have been nice, but it was only 5k and she gave me a cold bottle every time. No major complaints at all.

I loved the host, she was the best. She's very friendly, kind and caring. Even the guy who comes at night was super kind and friendly. They make you feel like you're at home and make sure you have everything you need!

The owner was helpful and attentive. Private Car transfer to Danang was good value. Short walk to restaurants. Quiet location beside the river. Room was dark but this did keep the room cool. Bed had thin mattress but was still comfortable.

- The hosts were super friendly - every day a different great breakfast - Night watchmen was also here even when you arrived at 2am - you can book/order suits, bus or boat tickets, bikes and more - quiet place, 7min by feet to the beach - nothing!

Such a lovely stay here! The best hosts I’ve had in my whole 5 weeks of being in vietnam, really attentive, spoke amazing English, checked in on me and cooked me delicious food upon request for a really good price. The meds were comfortable and the area so peaceful with a great view. I would recommend this place to everyone going to Hoi An

This is a great place to stay by the beach. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, and the homestay is a quick walk to some great beaches to swim and relax at. The hosts were so lovely, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was tasty! Thank you!

A friendly helpful host. Affordable bike rental. Breakfasts are good.

Owners were extremely helpful and friendly, they booked us a coconut boat tour and picked us up on motorbikes to take us to and from the river. They also provided other trips and you could book your bus through them and the bus could pick you up from the hostel. Central location, easy to get a grab car or bike to the centre. Highly recommended to other travellers Aircon in the room slightly missed the single bed but was fine if you were in the double, and didnt have a remote to adjust temperature.

In early 2024, we returned to River Park Homestay with new friends. After the years of Covid 19, we felt like we were back with our wonderful, beloved family after days away, with wonderful impressions. After that, we went into the kitchen to cook delicious food together, toasted and welcomed the new year The landscape in front of us was a river connecting to Cua Dai beach, so poetic, we watched the calm sun In the garden, the flower pots we once cultivated and watered are now blooming with colorful flowers. Oh ! so beautiful The surroundings are clean, inside and out, cool, peaceful, precious, and very comfortable. We continued to invite each other to An Bang beach, 5 minutes walk to the "Private beach area" Oh! The feeling was so exciting, the waves were so peaceful, the sea was so clean, we made sand mountains and compressed statues together. It was very rewarding for a short vacation, we didn't want to leave River Park, sorry we had a schedule but it's okay we will return to this place.

The room was very spacious and clean. The host was really sweet and prepared us food herself. The property is a lake view house so it's very pretty.
