Nothing negative, it was amazing

Extremely nice family: always on hand to help, give suggestions, ensure comfort 3mins to beach, restaurants nearby, quiet part of town Comfortable room, lots of sunlight, fridge, TV, balcony etc... Nothing. All was perfect

We loved our hosts. Co Bon Beachside is run by a family that clearly cares about the comfort and happiness of their guests. They are kind and thoughtful people who made us feel right at home! They had free bikes for our use which we rode to the old quarter, and the Homestay is located directly across the road from beach access! We are completely satisfied! We have no complaints!

The nicest room I have stayed, in my four year's of living around Southeast Asia. Planned on three nights, but stayed three weeks. A kind, friendly, and helpful family operates this homestay, and I recommend staying here as long as you can. Very comfortable bed, lots of windows and doors for natural light and fresh air, fast wifi, clean room, few minutes walk to beach, and the best noodle breakfast in Vietnam! I will happily return next year. Thank you Co Bon Homestay for sharing your family's home with me.

Very kind family, excellent location, clean and comfortable rooms and beds and air conditioning. It was a budget stay and is priced accordingly. I would stay there again any time.

Very clean room, nice balcony, and very very kind family! Highly recommended :) They had a tasty noodle breakfast and gave us fruit on the evenings. Note that they only accept cash, but when we did not have enough to pay the owner kindly drove me by motorbike to the nearest ATM when we checked out.

Owners were really friendly and treated us with some fruit. The bed was huge which is good because of the height of my partner who is 1m95 :) also really comfortable bed and not as hard as some of the other beds in Vietnam. They have the option to eat breakfast in the morning and the place is quiet in the evening and at night. All of that really interesting considering the price you pay for your stay. We also loved the free bike rental! Water of shower was cold but I have to mention we did not talk about it to the owners since we did not really mind. Might have been a solution for it if we mentioned it. Front picture of the homestay is a little misleading since it is not located right at the beach. You will have to do a short walk of a fes minutes for it. Other than that everything was perfect for us!

The room has everything you need and the bed is exceptionally comfortable. It's modern and very clean. The host is friendly and courteous. I was able to check in early which was much appreciated after an overnight train. It would be helpful to have information given upon arrival such as services that are available (rentals, etc), whether or not breakfast is an option, and more information about the area and/or any festival dates. I wasn't given any information upon arrival and communication through the app was not reliable. I made this booking based on reviews and the pictures - the beach picture is quite misleading. Though it is not far from the beach, it is not beachfront and if the weather is not cooperating there isn't much else to do in the area. Many of the reviews talked about breakfast but it was not included - which may have been my oversight and the host did offer noodles when I asked about it. Be sure to check your booking. Overall there is nothing wrong with nor exceptional about this property. If you aren't going to be on the beach (whether by choice or weather), I would choose somewhere else to stay. If the weather is beach worthy, this is a perfectly nice place for a beach vacation.

Very spacious room and ensuite with a huge bed and nice furnishings, probably the nicest room I have stayed in so far and for a very low price. They also offer free bicycle hire to get to the nearby beaches and attractions. Owner is very friendly and generous, offering food and drink for no charge on some occasions, you might even be invited to drink beers Vietnamese style if you're lucky!

We spent 3 nights and had an excellent host who couldn't have been more welcoming. He and his lovely family have consistently offered support when needed (e.g. arranged a rental moto bike and gave generous discount). The room was clean and the neighborhood was very peaceful and relaxing. A few minutes distance to the beach and lots of small but delicious restaurants. Definitely the best accommodation we had in Vietnam for an incredible price. We will come back!

Exceptional

+ walking distance to 3 different beaches that were surprisingly very clean + old town easily reachable via grab or bicycle + lovely & accommodating hosts and family + spacious and clean room & bathroom + comfy bed + bicycles free to use + host gave me fruits one evening + gate is unlocked before 10 pm, but after 10 pm it is easy to get in with a key (in comparison to other homestays where it felt like a prison even during the afternoon because it was always a hassle to open and close the gate) + every morning you can eat delicious mi quang for a fair price (20k VND) from the host family. Had nice chats in-between with the host family. Thank you so much! - located on a main road next to the beach, so you could hear all the vehicles passing by (but luckily at night there are not so many) - it's very hot during the day since the sun shines directly onto the house (maybe providing some plants on the balcony of the upper rooms to catch some heat would be useful?) - most stores and shops along the beach road charge higher tourist prices, so you would need to walk a bit to get a more variety of food stalls.
