Vive Hotel Waikiki

Room was clean. Staffs were amazing, and breakfast hit it as included option. Parking was not bad, but like many other hotels in downtown Waikiki, valet and resort fees are expensive. Good things that amenities like beach towels, body board, mats, chairs and umbrella were free to use as much as you want, and allowed to keep them in the car as long as you return them at the end. So if you think about renting all those at various different locations; beaches, parks ant etc. it is definitely worth the resort fees. Location was great, distance was good on either you walk or drive. One thing we were not happy about is that there were ants in the room and in the bldg hallway. But I’ve seen worse - Cockroaches - at different hotels, so this was bearable.

This was a very nice hotel. The one thing that could be improved is that it would be helpful if the breakfast items were labeled, so guests with allergies knew what they could eat without asking. And if non dairy milk was provided for coffee.

The hotel is at a great location as there are various restaurants nearby, walkable distance. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. They accommodate to what you may need.

Location: close to beach (about 4-5 minutes); bus stop is near the entrance to the hotel (about 1 minute) Room was equipped with all necessary for comfortable stay Beach is not far from the hotel (about 4-5 minutes of walking). It was possible to use special beach chairs, towels, bags, etc provided by the hotel. During all day, it was possible to drink coffee, tea, cold water or tea in the cafeteria on the first floor (free of additional payment). Sometimes, it was difficult to find free place at the table during breakfast.

The ac was very noisy. It was running the whole time even after the temperature had exceeded the set temperature. Staff (tall Caucasian man) was unnecessarily abrupt.

Location is great! You can do everything by walking around 10/20 minutes (restaurants, gift shops, etc). Uber is a good option for longer distances. The room is a little bit outdated and small for the American's hotel standards The beach is a block away and the hotel provides all you need to enjoy a beautiful day by the Waikiki beach Breakfast is delicious (specially the fruits) but you have to be patient to get a spot to sit down You can enjoy fresh (and good) coffee, tea, lemonade or water 24hr Staff efficient and friendly Definitely a place to go back!! Better lighting in the bathroom Vegetal milk for breakfast And more hooks, please! Consider building a ramp at the front entrance, to facilitate clients in and out with the luggages

Breakfast was good but not enough sitting

Exceptional

Its location is key for Waikīkī beach, shopping of any type on Kuhio and Kalākaua Avenues; the Zoo, Waikiki Aquarium-any level and types of cuisines to enjoy. The VIVE’s enhanced daily breakfast buffet is special. There is fresh fruit, mini baked items, a hot entrée-usually eggs w sausages or bacon. Unlimited coffee, tea and juice are available 24/7. But our #1 reason which has us returning to the VIVE is the superior staff! Everyone is so efficient from the breakfast staff, cleaning, and front desk-and so cordial. No one is rushed with any questions they might have. Though we are sometimes curious about trying a new hotel-we just don’t! We would miss the VIVE too much!! I like everything. Services and amenities

We went to Hawaii for our fiftieth wedding anniversary and also my wife's birthday. We enjoyed our stay very much; the staff were all very friendly and helpful. our room was clean every day, the breakfast was very good, the things that we needed for the beach were available, and everything else including the parking. We Thank You. We just liked everything.

The staff was amazing, we only spend one night at the hotel, but it was ok. I probably wouldn't stay at this hotel if one day I'll comeback to Honolulu.

Rooms clean but a little dated. Everything else excellent.

The breakfast was on always on point. So much fresh fruits every morning.
